Fantastic stay in the beautiful back house. Lots of privacy and wonderful unobstructed views of the meadows with breathtaking sunset. Also animals spotted (herons, roe deers and a hare). Relax with all the space and luxury at hand. Extremely welcoming couple. Thank you Auke and Janet.

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

Thea gave us a very friendly welcome. With conviviality and accurate information about the surrounding area. She did a remarkable job of renovation adapted to the constraints related to the classification of this farmhouse of very beautiful proportions. A very nice place for a break...For us a short rest/respite stay with a quality connection for the imponderables of work and very nice walks in the discovery of the neighboring villages with very beautiful heritage homes too. Arrived for a quiet long weekend in between, can get to almost all the nice outings from the location within half an hour, in addition, you can enjoy hiking. It is also a nice walk that there are also some special features within walking distance Hunebedden, hiding caves from the 2nd world war, etc. the communication with Ria is good, she asks in advance what type of coffee you want and prepare that type of device, which the children like to read etc. when she has it she sets it ready. Have 2 autistic children and because we indicate this, she gave us the quietest of the 2 cottages. Ria thank you for all the good care.

The place is absolutely amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay in this rustic and comfortable apartment. It is very spacious and has everything you need. The heater works well and fast. The garden looked very nice as well. We especially enjoyed the bed in the little nook - it was so cosy! It also gave us an illusion of a spacial separation to the baby travel bed. The cherry on the cake was the Roelie's breakfast: simple and delicious!!

It is a great house to stay with a large group, very spacious and with nice bedrooms. The brought games stayed in the bag; there is a table tennis table, poulebilart, shuffleboard and piano! And with nice weather you will have a large garden at your disposal. The beautiful stories of Peter and Milou about the house were the icing on the cake.

Our stay with Annemarie was nothing short of amazing. We had the best time at this converted barn . Big enough for 2 people on dead end road with views of the landscape and her horses. Annemarie is a warm and very kind host and she makes sure everything is to your satisfaction. We will often think back about our stay with her and certainly will return. Grietus & Kaylynne

Enjoying the large garden, making friends with cat Willem, looking for an egg every day with the kids, baking mud pies, jumping on the trampoline and sitting by the fire on the covered terrace in the evening. For us 4 adults and 2 kids this was the perfect vacation. Many thanks to Joanne and her family for their hospitality, generosity and all the thoughtful details.

Enormously enjoyed our overnight stay in the Zethuisje. The Zethuisje is nicely located in the countryside where supplies can be found in the immediate vicinity. A warm welcome including package and delicious smelling bedding. We were honestly a little startled by the review about electricity that would not be good as we would work from the house. Fortunately, this was not at all! And could even be two of us working from the house (with super wifi) and views over the countryside! In addition, Jeltsje is a super friendly and helpful hostess that makes you feel right at ease. Thank you very much for the nice stay, we will definitely be back!

We had a nice stay at this cottage. Quiet environment and you can take beautiful walks nearby. The Lock Place is a nice spot for coffee/lunches/dinners. Wietske was quick and clear in her communication.

If you would like to take a quiet holiday with a fenced garden with a dog, this Airbnb is really top for you! The garden is very beautiful and for summer there would be many ways to use it. Karina was a great host and immediately on hand if we needed anything or had questions. One or two small things "bothered us", but after a message to Karina, this was also clarified directly again! What a heavenly week we experienced with our family of 4 in this beautiful front house, where decor and atmosphere completely coincide with the tranquility and timelessness of Drenthe. From the 1st moment you step over the threshold here, you will feel 100% at home and welcome. The contact with Miranda and Aldo was most warm, warm, enthusiastic and thoughtful. All spaces were cozy and comfortable, the spacious upper floor turned out to be an ideal retreat for our puberty. Miranda's numerous tips were a hit. Agree, the sunny weather played a favorable role: we walked in a fairytale winter landscape, packed thick, two days later without a jacket in spring temperatures. But we are convinced that you can also have a fantastic holiday here in the weirdest meager weather. It's a place you actually want to put in a box. Never forget and secretly don't share it. What we do now;-)

The best neighborhood , a minute walk from downtown and a place that feels just like home! Timnette and her husband welcomed us to their beautiful home and very lovely people . We checked in early because we arrived early but enjoyed the walk straight after in the area. Plenty of restaurants around , supermarket is 5 minutes walking and home was fully equipped with everything. I wish we stayed for longer it was th perfect holiday home. Thank you for making our stay super memorable with my mother 🫶🏼

My partner and I had fabulous time at Angeline's lovely house. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The decoration was lovely. Angeline was always kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Groningen.

Meppel and especially Jolanda's house is unique, you feel the cosy and warm family atmosphere like in the fairytale places. For me this is the third time I have stayed at Meppel as Jolanda’s guest and I really love it! Thank you so much for your hospitality!!!! It was great as always!

Nice studio with everything you need (modern bathroom and fully equipped kitchen) in the center of Roden. Parking right outside the door. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. At the same time on the edge of the forest and therefore a good starting point for walks. In the house also all kinds of leaflets and information about the (wide) surroundings. Nice extra were the board games to play. Very pleasant contact with the hostess. We enjoyed it.

Christel and her husband were great hosts, very kind, and responded quickly to messages. The home was lovely, spacious, clean, and cozy. It is located only 10 minutes by car to the city center. The apartment is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. It is 10 out of 10, best place I’ve stated at in the Groningen. I would definitely recommend to others and stay here again.
