Our stay at Maarten's place was fantastic! The instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow. Maarten and Ilse were amazing hosts, always responsive to our msgs. They ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The house is nestled by a serene lakeside, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, bikes, relaxing chairs by the lake. The thoughtful touches truly stood out, like the beautiful Christmas decorations with a charming tree and lovely lighting added to the festive atmosphere. We loved spotting the adorable Big duck family and squirrels near the property and enjoyed a wonderful bike ride through the forest trail, where we saw deers, horses and rabbits. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re so grateful for this experience and would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable family getaway.

We were warmly welcomed by Jannie and Arnold. The accommodation is very cozy, nicely located and equipped with every comfort. Nice beds and well cared for. In the morning we used the breakfast service, which was exquisite. We will definitely come back

Everything is just great

We arrived for Christmas with my twenty-something. The homeowners (Galina's parents) surprised us with lovely decorations and treats. We really enjoyed the calm and beautiful neighborhood, the friendly atmosphere of the small settlement. It was easy to drive into Groningen from here, and we also visited some other neighborhood landmarks based on the brochures we found in the house. Overall, just the same kind of rest we wanted. Thank you!
