We had a great stay at Patricia's . The hut we stayed in was small but adequate for our family of five. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have a fridge to store some of the food that we brought onto the site. We all loved the site, especially the swimming pool and proximity to the beach. Patricia was very helpful with booking our safari and advising us when to go and for how long. She and her staff made us some delicious meals while we were there and made sure we felt well looked after. I'd recommend Patricia's place for anyone needing a place to stay whilst visiting the nearby national parks. Thank you Patricia and all at the Kirinda Beach house.

Our days in Tissa have been unforgettable!!! Our experience with Wasantha in his camp has been simply special (and perfect!!!)...the location is unique, completely surrounded by nature and the rooms are tipycal for a safari adventure!! Wasantha and his team are so friendly and helpful! They bring us to Yala Safari but also prepare for us wonderful meals! The last dinner was in the camp with only the light of the fire and the stars! Wasantha told us a lot of his culture...and this thing is so interesting and special! We have leave a piece of our heart there!! Absolutely recommended!!!!!

A very special place in the heart of nature. The garden room with the open windows was really special - we sat in the evenings and watched the birds fly in and perch on the chandelier above our heads. Safari was organized for us which we loved and the food was delicious. Beautiful family next door who hosted and looked after us and their children was so sweet with our three year old! Loved our nature walk around the lake spotting crocs and water buffalo, and getting up for sunrise to watch the eagles and listen to the birdsong. Not to be missed if you’re planning on staying in Yala area!

We had an amazing stay here, the host is extremely responsive and friendly. Check in was smooth and welcoming especially during a horrendous thunderstorm. We were welcomed with towels to clean our faces and a lemon juice which was lovely. We booked our yala safari through the host which was INCREDIBLE! Cannot recommend booking through these enough, we were beyond lucky to see 2 leopards which was all down to our fantastic driver. Cabanas were spacious and clean, the bed was huge and so comfy. If we ever return to Sri Lanka we would definitely stay here again!

This is the best villa we have stayed by yala! The pool was an amazing addition and the caretaker was warm and very welcoming and accommodated all our needs with ease! As for meals, the chef did a fantastic job! Be sure to bring vegetables with you to avoid hassle of availability around town. The guys can only cook food from local stores, and they might not have good quality items. Our driver was able to stay in the tent. Overall really amazing place once the initial minor hiccups were sorted out. Would def come back for Sumeda’s hospitality!!

Staying at Dulaj’s place was incredible. Everyone who worked there was kind and helpful, arranging the safari, our delicious meals which included curry’s for our dinner and a huge breakfast, as well as onward travel. The room was secluded and it felt like we were on our own in the wildlife but also very safe. Couldn’t have asked for more.

"Wilderness Bliss at Yala's Edge" Our stay at this Airbnb on the border of Yala National Park was an absolute wilderness extravaganza. It offered the best forest experience, immersing us in nature's embrace like never before. The highlight of our stay was not just the captivating wilderness but also the delectable dinner. It was a culinary delight that perfectly complemented our adventure-filled days. Mr. Santosh, played an instrumental role in making our stay exceptional. His assistance and warmth added immense value to our experience. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience throughout our time there. This spot is a must-visit, especially if you're planning a safari at Yala National Park. The rates are incredibly reasonable, offering exceptional value for the experience it provides. It's a treasure trove for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

What a beautiful boutique hotel near Tissa lake! Everything was very beautiful and done with great taste. Rooms were comfortable and spotless clean. The breakfast was to die for - probably the best we’ve had while traveling in Sri Lanka! The staff were very kind and friendly. We wish we could’ve stayed for longer! The only note is that this family room is upstairs, and there’s a narrow and not very well lit stairs without a railing that leads to it. If you’re young and healthy, it’s no issue, but we traveled with an elder parent who was a hip problem, and for him that stairs was difficult and scary to climb.

The staff/team was extremely friendly and helpful. Service was excellent and they made us feel right at home. Food was tasty and welll cooked. Rooms were huge and very clean, bathrooms were also huge and super clean. The team arranged for safari very nicely, and were very accommodative with all our ever changing requests. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Yala. Thank you Rohan and team.
