What a GEM of a place amongst the most beautiful trees. Every morning, I couldn't wait to go outside to sit amongst the trees and meditate to the wonderful bird sounds. The NATURAL LIGHT in this home is something else to behold. It was bathed in it! We, our teens and darling little dog felt very welcome in this home that was decorated with respect to the mid-century era it's been built in with a few modern and eclectic twists to make it not look and feel dated. We enjoyed inviting friends over to entertain in the garden with the bbq and lovely wooden garden setting. As it's only about a 5-min walk to the beach, my keen fisherman husband and son thought they were in heaven as they could peruse the nearby pier at the Blairgowrie Yacht Squandron every morning and evening. We felt very welcome and are looking forward upon our return!

Had a great stay with the kids over some school holidays - took our little puppy as well who loved the back yard. Overall lovely place to stay for a few days.

We had a wonderful holiday. The house had a relaxed holiday vibe. The backyard was ideal for our granddaughters as it was fully fenced and had a lovely grassed area for the girls to play. The back deck was a great space to relax.

Loved our Easter break at serenity. House was spotless with lots of extras we didn’t expect. Chris even supplied dog towels so we could bath Winnie after being down at the Dog beach. If you want to park your car and love walking this house is for you! Walk to a great coffee shop just around the corner, walk to Sorrento or Blairgowrie. Even better only 10 min walk to the dog beach where we spent a lot of time. This beach is also great for paddle boarding which we also had fun doing… Communication with Chris was excellent from the moment I booked. We will definitely return.

Jo was a lovely host who did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable, including leaving a complimentary brownie-making kit for my son’s birthday. Excellent prompt communication at all times. The house was very pet friendly - including dog bowls, treats, beds, blankets etc! A lovely grassed and secure backyard for dogs to run around in and kids to play. The house was clean with soft, comfortable beds and all things you could possibly need are provided. The lounge room is full of gorgeous indoor plants and is beautiful peaceful place to sit and relax, as is the outside deck. Our family had a lovely stay at Jo’s place and can happily recommend this property to others.

We really enjoyed our stay in this accommodation. It is really well positioned close to everything Sorrento has to offer. The accommodation was lovely. We will definitely stay again.

Mischee's place is a true gem on the Peninsula. We were a group of 6 adults plus a mini sausage dog and we could not fault the house or location - ample common space to relax and take in the sounds of the ocean, and total privacy from the landscaped driveway to the hedge-bounded back deck. The kitchen had everything you could need (including multiple sets of glassware, which many Airbnbs lack for larger groups) so we spent most of our long weekend cooking the Peninsula's beautiful produce. Mischee was also extremely responsive and friendly. 11/10

Great family house extraordinarily well equipped kitchen with lots of equipment and clear instructions. Peaceful, private, comfortable. Walk to beachover a sand ridge or via flat streets in 5-10 minutes. Beachside walk to shops in 20-25 minutes. Great value.

A beautiful house with spectacular views. Perfect for large families wanting to hang out by the pool all day. Chris provided some great local recommendations and insights to help with our stay.

In addition to it being a stunning property inside and the surrounding grounds of the property, every aspect of the house was well thought out including the cleanliness- kudos to the cleaners. Good facilities, kitchen was well stocked with essentials, perfect layout for our group with plenty of space to spread out and also gather. Can’t fault the place! Our host Tamara was amazing in helping us prepare for our stay and making it a memorable one. We only wished we had stayed longer! We will absolutely be staying here again.

My family and I spent a few days at this beautiful villa to celebrate my birthday. The views from my bedroom and from the entertaining area were spectacular. The house has all the amenities you need. The tennis court is a bonus, the swimming pool and the jacuzzi were also nice to have. The beach is a few minutes away walking distance. We will definitely go there again. The Host Peggy, has been so helpful in all our queries and is a very nice person indeed. We highly recommend this beautiful villa to everyone looking for a fantastic holiday. The place is gorgeous and exactly as advertised. Everything is perfect there with generous provision of everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Beach and Blairgowrie village are both within walking distance. Bookabreak were wonderful with their communication - always so lovely and helpful. 10/10

Fantastic stay! Plenty of space for our families, with big rooms, a great outdoor area, and large TV for entertainment. The hosts provided all the essentials, including coffee, shampoo, and even board games. The kitchen was well equipped - rice cooker, cheese gratter, and electric whisk… you name it! Location is excellent: quiet and close to stunning beaches. Highly recommend!

This place was great. We had our babymoon here and both my wife and I loved it. The views were spectacular and we also bought our dog with us who loved the open space. I’d recommend this place to all my friends and family. Very close to the beach and main shops as well for easy access.

I had such a lovely time staying here!! The place was super clean, organised, has what you need to have a very comfortable stay. LOVE the backyard, so private and peaceful! Chris gave me a lot of information which made it very easy for me to check in 🙂 I HIGHLY recommend staying here 😊

Fantastic location. Right in the heart of Barwon heads town, close to all the shops etc, walking distance to the river and beach. The house was clean and quiet. sheets, beds and amenities were good. Would definitly recommend.

Terry was an excellent host and this is such a great place down the coast for some time with family. Our little ones loved swimming and seeing the animals. Beds were comfy and the cottage was large. We will be back! Thanks again Terry!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us Suzie, we had a great time even though the weather wasn't the best for swimming. The house was warm and welcoming with plenty of space to read, relax and do puzzles. The kitchen was fabulously equipped and having the coffee machine was brilliant. The hot tub was spotlessly clean and even though it was chilly and windy out it was great to relax in the tub and be surrounded by tea trees.

This is a nice place, well set up with lots of thoughtful touches. It makes a good Airbnb. It's close to the entrance to Rye Beach, close to the shops, and easy to find. It can be a little noisy with some traffic coming off Dundas street during the day but hardly anything you would notice and it dies down during the evening. The rooms are clean and have all the essentials, with plenty of room for a large or multiple families to stay. It is a slightly older build so the place can get very hot during the day, but cools down very quickly if there is a breeze overnight. The backyard is a particular highlight, well set up for kids with a basketball ring and a trampoline. Kitchen is large and well supplied. Josh and Beck were extremely responsive and helpful in the leadup and while we were there. All in all I would recommend and would definitely stay again.
