Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Wolf Trap

Our stay at this warm and cozy farmhouse was perfect for our group of 11 adults as we celebrated my sister's birthday. The furnishings were all comfortable and we had what we need for our weekend stay. Everyone truly enjoyed themselves and we look forward to returning some day. Jessica was very responsive and the booking was seamless start to finish. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at the Old Schoolhouse to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary, and it was wonderful! The property was very private and peaceful, and with the recent snow it was absolutely beautiful. Our car got stuck when we arrived and Teri was incredibly responsive-- she came to the property right away to help us, and offered to help us during our departure if the snow was still problematic. She had lovely recommendations for local restaurants/sightseeing, and the accommodations in the schoolhouse were super cozy-- she provided several space heaters, and once we lit a fire in the wood burning stove the temperature inside was perfect. Definitely recommend!

Jake’s place felt like a cozy getaway in a perfect location. This space was exactly what we needed and we didn’t think the pictures did it justice. The living room, kitchen and sun room spaces are so spacious and welcoming. Jake was flexible with our booking needs and willing to work with us for our accommodations. We’ve had bad luck with airbnb locations in the past and we were pleasantly surprised and grateful we didn’t have to worry about uncleanliness or other issues. This gave us peace of mind to enjoy our weekend and gathering with family & friends. I would only suggest that mattress covers be used on the beds & the master bedroom shower drain may need to be snaked as the water pool as the water did not drain quickly. Allowing pets is also a big plus as our fur babies go everywhere with us. The fenced yard was the cherry on top. I can only imagine that the yard is even greater during the warmer months. 5 stars!

Wonderful stay! Adorable home in Old Town Alexandria-we stayed the week between Christmas and New Years-family if 5 with 2 teens and a preteen, and the house was PERFECT for our family. Great location to DC, without the traffic if DC to come back to every day.

We booked Baljinder's place as we had a wedding and we used this place for Bride's family to stay and get ready. Baljinder went above and beyond to provide us with the needful information/amenties.

The house is extremely comfortable, clean and convenient. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay, and the surrounding woods were beautiful covered in snow. Sitting next to the fire and watching the deer run around outside was very relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked and everything was very comfortable.

This was a great location convenient to all of the attractions of DC as described. She even left muffins, and wine for us which was a nice treat. The property looked exactly like the pictures. Overall it was a great stay with a great host.

Harrison was very accomodating and flexible to our needs. He was excellent in regards to communication. The beds were comfortable and the place was immaculate. Although we didn't use the kitchen it has everything you need. We frequented the nearby Roost/ food court. Thank you Harrison for a great stay.

This was the most charming Airbnb I have stayed in due to the creative decor and neighborhood location. They provided nice instructions for getting around and things to do. The bed was really comfy and every amenity was available and well presented. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Hudson’s place exceeded our expectations. Quick two day trip to DC with family who’ve never been. Easy to find. On street parking pass. The apartment was well appointed. Everyone had their own space. Easy walk to delicious and diverse dining options. The walk to the metro was 10-15 minutes. Hudson was an excellent host. We plan on returning!

We loved our stay at "Enchanted" as artists, my husband and I appreciated the charming bohemian decor -- there were so many interesting objects and works of art, it was like visiting a favorite eccentric aunt or uncle's house with a new visual delight to discover in every corner. But don't think the place is cluttered, it is neat as a pin with a tidy little kitchen stocked with thoughtful snacks (microwave popcorn!) The bathroom has a heavenly tub with all sorts of creams and soaps if you are in need - everything visually appealing and welcoming. Becky is a five star host, responsive, helpful and overall a pleasure to deal with, the neighborhood is lovely and quiet with on the street parking right in front of the house. If you're looking for for a cozy hideaway -- check into Enchanted :)

Adam is an amazing host with great place. Very nice territory with a pond and a lawn. The rental place was very clean which is hard to come by lately. Kudos to him. Highly recommended.

Hospitality was amazing. Rob went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. Great location, easy to access public transportation. we felt very safe. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at Elizabeth's sweet DC Airbnb! The apartment is smartly laid out and has an open/airy floor plan to it, with no clutter. There is a wonderful electric fireplace we could cozy up to while watching one of her DVD's (WKRP IN Cincinnati). The bed is super comfy and the walk to the Metro was just 25 minutes away. It was great to be able to use stainless steel pans too, instead of the awful peeling Teflan that some places still have. There are great coffee shops close by! Thank you Elizabeth!

This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

Great peaceful place on the river. Perfect for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and spending time with family. John was very helpful and friendly. We live on a farm and have 2 dogs that are not usually leashed. So I guess the only down fall was having to worry about them wandering into neighboring yards… we are not used to that. Other than that the place was perfect.

The cabin had everything we needed for a great stay. We appreciated clear communication and responsiveness from Liz, as well as her attention to detail. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck with views of the river.

Beautiful, cozy space that had everything we needed for a quiet weekend. The host was very responsive and helpful; when we had an issue with the hot tub, she called us and walked us through solving the problem. She also gave us a late checkout at the end of our stay to make up for said issue. We had great time, and very much enjoyed the space!

Wonderful and cozy stay in stunning setting - great if you want to go camping with a bit more comfort. The train was quite loud so good to be aware of that, but we had anticipated it so it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Hope to come back next year!

Stay at the house was very nice, everything about the listing was accurate, and the view and surroundings were amazing. However, do keep in mind that the recommendation for 4WD/AWD is a necessity if you arrive in inclement weather! We had some vehicle trouble because of the snow, and not only were the locals very helpful, the hosts did everything they could to help, and the cleaners helped by driving us down to where our cars where after checkout time. Other than the tricky road up to the house, everything else about the place was exceptional!

The cabin was so cozy and perfect spot for my husband and I to get a weekend away! Robert was very communicative and everything was very easy with check in and check out. We enjoyed our stay!
