The Apple Barn is a simply wonderful place to stay. It was the perfect base for our family of four while our house was being refurbished. Plenty of space and well stocked. The location is beautiful - especially the garden and when the sun is shining it's the perfect sun trap. And we loved watching the dogs, pigs and chickens! We appreciated all the 'little things' such as the long washing line, storage space and good amenities, which just made everyday life that little bit easier. The village is lovely, and there is an easy walk to the guided busway which goes straight into Cambridge. There is also a small shop for essentials and a lovely little coffee shop (Teabellies) has just opened up. Mark was a wonderful host - always responsive and willing to help with any requests. My only wish was that we weren't quite so busy all the time so we could have enjoyed the stay even more! Highly recommend.
