Our stay in Woodpecker Lodge was absolutely amazing! The lodge is tucked in a peaceful farm and surrounded by countless trees and greenery. If you are looking for a quiet place to escape to, I couldn’t recommend this airbnb enough!

The house was everything needed for a relaxing time away. It was clean, warm and cosy. The bed was comfortable and the environment was quirky and stylish. After travelling sometime to get there, to arrive and have fresh milk for a cuppa was most welcoming. The house is right in the centre of the village so walking distance to shops and pubs. Lovely Old Home 10mins drive from the center or Blackburn and a Great base for exploring the Countryside. Stayed here while vising family over Christmas. The House is an older property and has a few scars and dings here n there. But in some ways that only adds to the Charm and we immediately felt at home there. Feels 'Lived in' unlike some places that are very cold and clinical. Not this place. Great Kitchen with everything you could want. Washing machine / Dryer & a Great TV. Lovely furniture, Huge comfy sofa / chairs. Great internet and amazing views. 4 mins walk to a train station which will take you almost anywhere (We went to watch a show in Manchester City Centre). Walking distance to pubs and Grocery stores. The Lady next door stopped by to say hello and was very friendly. Host (Alexandra) very responsive and helped us with a little issue we had very quickly. So glad we found this place and had a great stay. 5 stars from me ! Thank you so much!
