Great place to visit, house is very cozy with large windows in the living room. Loved watching the snow from the couch with a cup of coffee. Great place to go with kids, large backyard is a great place to them to play. Emily responded quickly to all my questions. Thank you , hope to come back next year.

The house was exactly as described and included more space than we expected. The house is METICULOUS and included everything we needed. Love the fireplace - so cozy for the winter! Lots of space for winter clothing and such. We truly had the most spectacular and magical visit to Lake Placid during the holidays and we found this home to be a perfect base for our family. Absolutely highly recommend!

We had another great stay at this house. We love the house and the neighborhood. It was a winter wonderland this year. Can’t wait to come back.

Amy & Bryon were wonderful hosts - I reached out well in advance letting them know we were traveling to the area to celebrate a birthday and inquired about early check-in. They were more than willing to be accommodating in every way. We arrived for check in and were greeted by Bryon and a chocolate cake with our names on it! YUM. The house is out of the way of the tourists, which is just what we wanted. It’s close enough to Lake Placid & Saranac that you can get in the car and go, and be where you needed in 20 minutes. The house was immaculate and filled with plenty of extras. We literally needed nothing. It was such a peaceful weekend and we are so thankful we were lucky enough to be hosted by them! If we are ever back in the area, we will be looking for Amy & Bryon’s availability. Thank you both so much!

This is a really great place. Super comfy, cozy and tranquil. We’ll appointed kitchen complete with great air fryer. Great location and amenities. Would definitely stay here again. Hosts were super flexible and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. We were visiting for a skating competition and the proximity to the rink and the town center made the trip easy. The house was warm and cozy and had everything that we needed. The view from the living room was stunning. Kids and adults loved our time at the house and in Lake Placid.

Nice place to be close to town. We went in the winter and snow was cleaned away as needed . Good parking.

Peggy’s place is the best!!!! This is our 5th year & we already booked for 2/26!!!!! Very centrally located, & only 20 minutes to Whiteface!!!!! Peggy is a true local who has great suggestions & is also very responsive!!!! Stayed there in summer as well as winter though winter is my favorite! Lake Placid + Peggy’s house = a great time!!!!!

My wife and I stayed in Angela’s studio apartment in February. This place is a hidden gem!!! The space was amazing and deceptively spacious. We were welcomed with a snack basket into a cozy kitchen with all the amenities. The bathroom was modern, spacious and beautiful!!! The view of the lake outside our door was a classic winter scene. Angela was is constant communication throughout our stay answering all of our questions. Angela is an amazing host!! We can’t wait to go back to her place and enjoy more Lake Placid adventures.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Walk to everything the village of Saranac Lake has to offer. Great communication. Easy peasy

Brian’s place is always amazing! Quiet, private and lovely to spend a couple days again. We also needed to stay an extra day due to the winter storm and he was very flexible! Very nice place with everything you need! Highly recommend!

We stayed at Jon’s Loj for a short winter trip, and we are so glad we picked this spot to stay. The Loj was exactly as described - and then some. We found so many nice touches throughout the Loj: a robust coffee selection, chocolates left in the bedroom, and great resources about the surrounding area. Immaculately clean, the Loj was welcoming and cozy. At the end of a cold day, it was a great place to come back to for the night and in anticipation of the next day of fun. Thank for you the wonderful stay!

Sherri’s place was clean, cozy, and inviting. Just a couple minutes from the center of Lake Placid. We were able to tour all of the Olympic legacy sites with ease even in the snow and windy weather. The location made it super easy to take breaks and warm up in between trips, especially with our 3 kids under 7. Kitchen was well stocked to cook a few meals too. Would certainly recommend this place!!

What a lovely condo in a beautiful setting and impeccably maintained. Check in was easy. We really appreciated the cozy atmosphere with fireplaces and heated garage after 8 hours on the road in snow! The set up was perfect for us with my daughter, her husband and my two grandsons downstairs in their own space and my granddaughter and me upstairs. The beds were comfy and the kitchen very well appointed. The Adirondack Olympic decor and furniture is perfect. We especially liked the unique, bear featured stair runners. Robin and Bob are gracious hosts providing great details and suggestions for activities. We all wished our vacation could have been longer! Don’t hesitate to book, you will love it.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. The view from the condo of the lake is beautiful. We loved being able to use the amenities at the High Peaks Resort. We walked each night into town for dinner. The living space is very comfortable and the bedrooms were also comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Lana was a great host and showed us around the place when we checked in. She let us check in sooner than planned which was great after a long travel day. The place was quiet, serene and comfortable. The showers were "amazing". My husband is over 6ft tall, so it's hard to find showers he can fit in comfortably. The beds were comfortable and the space was perfect. I'm not a fan of leather and that's all there was to sit on on the living room but I completely get why that's what is used, especially in an Airbnb with spills and germs for cleaning purposes. I just used a blanket to sit on, problem solved. She is doing some renovations and explained the new amenities coming soon. I would definitely recommend. Many thanks for a great experience.

Beautiful view from back of condo! Convenient location, walk to everything. Kitchen stocked with all essentials, spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable! Sauna an added bonus after hiking & boating all day! Hope to back next summer! Thank you Michelle!

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, well kept, and clean condo. Space was perfect for our group and just as described in the listing. Kitchen was bigger than I expected and everything in the kitchen was in excellent/new condition. The DR/LR space was plenty big for our crew, and it was really nice to have have four bedrooms, each with their own updated bathroom. We did use the sauna which was lovely and a lot bigger than I expected! I would definitely book this unit again when in Lake Placid.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Kathy's! The place was very clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well stocked, and all linens were fresh. The location was very convenient to all that Lake Placid has to offer but also removed just enough to have some quiet time away from the bustle of all the shops. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lake Placid in the future. I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend in Lake Placid with our daughter and family.We had lots of snow, a true winter wonderland. When the sky’s cleared we enjoyed the spectacular views. This is a very comfortable and cozy home. We relaxed by the fireplace. The kitchen is very well stocked so we ate in a couple nights.The whole condo was as clean as can be. We will certainly be back.
