Excellent location! we had a great stay and the spa was amazing after a day of ski at whiteface mountain!! the only comment i have to say is that the place is very dusty and needs a deep scrub but that did not prevent us from enjoying the accommodation. kyle was easy to communicate to. He came to shovel at 7am during the winter storm which we appreciated à lot. For breakfast we recommend the blue moon coffee shop! we also spent quite some time at lake placid which was beautiful! we had a great time!!

Just the most brilliant little place to stay. Peaceful, off the beaten track and perfect for a relaxing break to this part of the world! Will definitely return!

The trillium cabin was lovely for a weekend getaway! The surroundings are beautiful, accommodations were clean and comfy, and the jacuzzi and fireplace made the stay extra cozy. Meghan gave very clear and proactive instructions, as well as provided many great local recommendations. We would highly recommend the Bark Eater Inn!

We had an amazing ski trip. The location had a great view of Whiteface. The place was so clean and the hosts put a lot of extra thought into the little details, robes in each of the closets , lots of extra towels for the hot tub. We would definitely book another trip again in a heart beat!

Spent 4 nights here in late January for a ski trip. Location is great if you're focused on the mountain, it's just a couple minute drive. A bit farther from Lake Placid, restaurants, and stores but it was ideal for us and we still went into town a few times. The property is in the woods—gorgeous, secluded, and quiet. The home itself feels relatively new and beautifully built with a large mudroom and plenty of space for ski gear. Also very warm! Love the heated floors. No shortage of hooks around the house too which was very convenient for hanging our gear—someone was thinking! We got lucky and the snow was absolutely epic so having space to dry out was key. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, dishes, storage bags, foil, and cleaning supplies. Just be aware there was no oil/butter for cooking so you'll need that. Douglas was a great host, very responsive, made it easy for us at every step. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect cozy cabin vibe that my fiancé and I were looking for to enjoy a little weekend getaway! It was a snowy weekend & but the cabin itself was so warm and homey, it’s near supermarkets if you need to stock up for the weekend, & there’s a cute little town with plenty of dine in options nearby. The hot tub was my favorite part, especially after a day of snowboarding at Whiteface mountain. Amy was super sweet, responsive, and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and disconnect!

This was exactly what was described! A little hideaway where my friend and I could hang out and relax and also be within reasonable distance to go do little day trips. The house was clean and warm. There were lots of spices and utensils for cooking that enabled us to make the dinners we wanted. Constructive criticism, I would leave instructions on setting up the ladder to the loft. Two bone heads like my friend and I attempted to climb the ladder before we figured out how to pull it out and latch it. I’m sure other people might have picked that up quicker lol. Otherwise, we loved it and appreciate how well everything worked out! Highly recommend!

Linda’s place in Lake Placid is my go-to stay every year, and for good reason! The house is always spotless and welcoming, with a cozy fireplace that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The hot tub is an amazing bonus, making every trip even more enjoyable. Linda is a fantastic host, ensuring everything is just right. Can’t wait to come back next year!

We stayed at Andy’s place for 3 nights during the Empire State Winter Games and had a great experience! The location was close to the Olympic Center/main street and the house was exactly as described- the 3 full bedrooms were a huge plus. Andy also stocked coffee, snacks, and condiments in his kitchen which was a great help during some early mornings! He was very responsive before and during our stay and was flexible with checkin/checkout which we really appreciated- his asks for checkout were also minimal and reasonable. Thanks again to Andy for this great listing, from 3 very grateful figure skaters!

Our second stay at Fox Hollow. Great location next to town. Beds and baths worked well for us. Access to trails and sledding out the back of the property was great. The front porch puts you in a special place and mood. J

This is our second time staying at Bob and Joan’s cabin. There was plenty of space for 4 people and we were very cozy with all that was provided. Their backyard view can’t be beat - such an amazing overlook to enjoy a coffee or tea with your loved ones and begin the day. Thanks for having us again!!

Nice house and great peaceful location. We enjoyed and were able to truly relax. The pictures on the listing match exactly the house in reality, no surprises. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back.

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

Extremely happy with our stay at the GoCottage. Great proximity to town, beyond comfortable, and very homie. My wife and I and our dog felt welcomed and truly enjoyed our stay. Sharon was beyond nice, extremely easy to communicate with, and was very friendly. We highly recommend staying here!!!!

Our family of four had a wonderful Presidents Day weekend at Johnathan's lovely chalet. The location was very close to Whiteface Mountain, where we spent four days skiing. It was always nice to come back to his warm and welcoming house at the end of a long, cold day on the mountain.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. The view from the condo of the lake is beautiful. We loved being able to use the amenities at the High Peaks Resort. We walked each night into town for dinner. The living space is very comfortable and the bedrooms were also comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at Tim's cabin at Whiteface Lodge! The cabin was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. Tim was the best host, very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The resort itself was fantastic, with so much to do that we never even had to leave! We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the amenities, and the peaceful atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back again for another unforgettable stay. Highly recommend!

Great set up within Whiteface Lodge with full access to the resort and amenities. The full 3 bedrooms and baths was so nice for our family.
