Patricia’s cottage had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable, best of all the view and area provided the peace and tranquillity we needed the most. Patricia was extremely thoughtful, friendly and kind and she took extra steps to make us and our furr babies feel beyond welcomed. Patricia was an exceptional host and we will absolutely be back very soon!! Highly recommend!

We love everything about the Yates Cottage. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful view soothed my soul — so much so, that we already have plans to return soon! I was up at first light each morning to greet the sunrise, and then saw the sunset at days’ end. A kingfisher and great blue heron kept me company each morning to see the birds start to take flight. Don’t forget to take your binoculars — the Cape Lookout Lighthouse is directly across the Sound and you can see pods of dolphin and pelicans fishing. If you are an avid birder, as I am, the Tundra swans are early this year, and can be seen nearby in Davis. Nothing could be finer than our visit here — we are blessed to have found the Cottage.

This was our second time staying at the Seahorse Villa. The place was as advertised. Clean and neat. Great location to explore Beaufort. Close to restaurants and the Piggly Wiggly. Joe was a very responsive host. He sent detailed instructions and was very accommodating. I look forward to staying there again soon.
