Perfect place to spend time…very clean, cosy and comfortable… well equipped and the many extras were much appreciated. Julie was a very helpful and friendly host and available if needed. I was there for 4 nights for work purposes and Julie’s place was ideal. It’s a short pleasant stroll to the eateries and pubs.. plenty fine ones to choose from on both counts. The lovely River Stort is 2 minutes away and the train station about 10 minutes walk. The town itself has some lovely buildings and steeped in history. Well worth a visit… stay at Julie’s if you go!

Lovely cottage, very cosy in a lovely location. Home from home with a great shower, comfy bed and a relaxing space. The Orange Tree Restaurant near by is definitely worth a visit too.

What we liked the most was the location of the house, in the heart of the English countryside. Very quiet and wonderful nature place. The house was cozy. Suzanne has been very friendly and very communicative.

Claudia and Andy were fantastic hosts - super responsive friendly, and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and made our 3 week stay in between moving as serene as one could hope! Would definitely recommend Wingate cottage! Thank you Claudia and Andy 🙏🏼
