Our 3rd visit to Shetland and by far the best accommodation. A stunning house filled with beautiful artwork, quality furnishings, and everything one would need for a home away from home. The views over Bains Beach are still making me smile now. A short walk from all amenities, bars, restaurants, theatre. A truly great find. Cannot wait to return. Shetland has so much History that is worth exploring.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, with very friendly and considerate hosts even popping across to bring some toys for the two year old who was with us, which where very happily received by the young man concerned. A beautiful and spotless accommodation in a stunning setting, will certainly be looking to come back soon, and have already recommended to several friends and colleagues who have expressed an interest in visiting Shetland. A fantastic place to stay, a five star facility at only a three star price great value for money. Thank you Michael & Mandy for your hospitality.

Bruce and Jeans cottage was a wonderful place for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary and bring in the new year. It was warm and cozy and Bruce, Jean and their family were so kind and helpful. They even helped tow us when we were struggling with the snow. We will definitely come back to stay here in better weather!

The house was spotless and like new condition. Well equipped kitchen and living room. Karen is a great host and always quick to respond to messages and flexible with check in. I recommend staying here.
