Lake house holiday rentals in Western Massachusetts

Laura's house is right at the water's edge and has stunning views of Lake George and Sandy Bay. The sunroom upstairs was our favorite place to sit and relax. The outside patio and the swing are also great places to sit and enjoy the views. The house was clean and tidy and we felt right at home as soon as we got there. The house would be great for two families or for families whose kids would like some space to themselves. Plenty of room to relax and sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

great place. located in a nice private community. the lake was beautiful and probably the best part. in the summer I can imagine people spending hours out there drinking coffee. The place had an old school charm and was well equipped

a nice property , definitely book it for more than 2 nights because they go by so quick ! but it is unfortunate they have their water system in a well and water is super limited and not filtered property.

What a great house for a family. Game garage was a huge hit for my 4 boys. Hot tub, canoe on a beautiful pond, this was a great stay.

Francois and Ann are amazing hosts, they always responded within 30 minutes or less and answered all our questions. Their house is beautiful, with excellent space and the best view. Would highly recommend staying with them and hope to stay in their house soon!

We wanted a place to gather with our adult children and 2 very young grandchildren. The layout provided sleep and bathroom space for each family that gave privacy. The open concept living-kitchen space helped us feel like we were together and sharing in the cooking and child care. Even in winter the lake view is peaceful and lovely. Cozy, well equipped, and the lake vibe made this a wonderful family get away. So glad we chose the lake house for our Holiday get together.

This was my first time visiting Lake George and Mikes place was the perfect spot to enjoy the peaceful beautiful surroundings all while being very accessible to downtown. The home has a lovely cabin decor and is very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone coming up to the area and will certainly book when we return

We had the best time at Vincent's lake house, and look forward to visiting again in the summer! It was easy to find, clean and cozy. The location was beautiful and the lake views and dock made us want to visit again in warmer weather. There was an issue with the oven the week before our stay, and Vincent was very communicative about the situation and provided options in case that affected our plans that weekend. It wasn't an issue, but I appreciated how attentive he was. Kitchen and amenities were great, can't wait to come back!

This cottage was perfect for our family. The side yard was just what the toddlers needed to get some fresh air and exercise. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked to prepare a big family meal.

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

We spent our Christmas in this peaceful house with beautiful lake view. The house was spacious and clean and perfect for family getaway. We loved taking a walk around the lake, and enjoyed the fireplace. Will definitely want to visit again!

From the moment we arrived, I was astonished at how beautiful the place was! Felt like you entered into the lobby of a resort, super huge living area, full bathrooms with multiple stalls (the men’s bathroom had a shower in it too). The only real full bathroom however was part of one of the largest bedrooms, which connected to one of the other bedrooms - wish it was completely separate so all could utilize it too as a 2nd bathroom without inconveniencing any of the others, but no big deal at all! Again, there was the option of another. The fireplace and multiple living areas was just perfect, with wood supplied, which was a plus. While we went in the winter, the serenity of the lake across the small road was very pleasurable - Can only imagine what it’s like in the summer and warmer weather! True gem! What a great investment Melissa has here. I never have said this about another rental, but I would DEFINITELY return! Do yourself the favor and book! You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Our stay at Amy’s place was wonderful! Her place is beautiful and cozy, filled with high quality finishes and thoughtful touches throughout. It was as though we had wandered into a Pottery Barn showroom and taken up residence for a few days. Her kitchen is absolutely stunning and was generously stocked with all kinds of goodies you don’t typically find at your average AirBnB. The star of the show though was the beautiful view of the lake through that impressive wall of windows (that and the natural gas fireplace set in its gorgeous masonry). Overall it was a much appreciated Hygge reset weekend in the heart of winter. We enjoyed being cozy and just relaxing in this most special space and we would love to visit again. Thank you Amy and Scott for opening your home to AirBnB so that we can love this house as much as you so clearly do!

Overall was fantastic experience. The home was better prepared and stocked compared to other passed Air BnB experience. All in all family voted as one of the better Air BnB places to date.

Think it was the best airbnb we have been to! So clean, everything worked perfectly, and there was everything we needed! Very small but perfect, comfortable size for 2-4 or 5 people. Very cute inside and comfy vibes!! Diane was super responsive as well :)

WENT FOR A FAMILY CELEBRATION FOR THANKSGIVING WEEKEND. THE HOUSE WAS INCREDIBLY STUNNING, GREAT ENTERTAINMENT AREAS, PLENTY OF SEATING, BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE END OF NOVEMBER, WE STILL WERE ABLE TO USE ALL THE OUTSIDE AMENITIES, THE OUTDOOR BAR, SEATING AREA, FIRE PIT, THE HEAT LAMPS WERE PERFECT & UNEXPECTED. THE OUTDOOR AREA WAS AS AMAZING AS INSIDE. THE HOUSE WAS BETTER THAN WE EXPECTED, WOULD HAVE TO SAY PERFECTION! CANNOT WAIT TO GO STAY AGAIN. THANK YOU TO NATHANIA, YOU'RE COMMUNICATION WITH US WAS QUICK & GREATLY APPRECIATED! LOVED EVERY MINUTE!

Had such a delightful stay. Entertaining family was a breeze as the home was perfect size and had plenty of what we needed to serve dinner and open christmas presents under the TREE, which was a surprise when we arrived! 10/10 would recommend.

Spent a wonderful week during Christmas here with my adult son whom I hadn’t seen in years. Launa went above and beyond with making the home cozy and comfortable and the Christmas decor was more than I could have imagined. Launa allowed an early check in although I had an emergency which did not allow me to check in early but she offered me the option. Launa also allowed us a late check out which was very much appreciated. The only thing I wished was that the beds were a little less firm as I found them to be too firm but that’s just my preference. Very tranquil place and many memories were made. I would love to stay again perhaps during warmer months to enjoy the lake and outdoors but all in all it’s a beautiful home.

We had an amazing snowy weekend at this quiet lake house. The fireplace and the view made for a relaxing getaway. And there is a hiking trail within yards of the front door. We even went to a local wine tasting hosted by Gary! We look forward to returning when possible.

An amazing house for a family stay in the Catskills area. Antonia has designed a beautiful home, with so many unique retro nods and details. The basement is an awesome additional space for everyone to hang out in. The backyard set up is also great- with easy access to the hot tub and a few steps to the lake. 15 min drive to great restaurants and things to do-Loved our stay here!

It is a great place (and everything is as advertised). Maxwell is very responsive, too.
