Holiday rentals with a sauna in West Dorset District

Just recently returned from an amazing weekend to celebrate my partners 50th birthday! From the moment I booked Eleanor was fantastic, she organised for birthday balloons and a bottle of bubbly and went out of her way to make it special. The apartment was spotless, and felt home from home. The spa … amazing! Again spotless and so relaxing. If you are looking for a place to get away to unwind…this is definitely the place to book. Thank you Eleanor and Wayne for making this weekend special, and for being perfect hosts. Will definitely be returning at some point!

Property was clean and easy to find. We drove into Bournemouth each day though as there wasn’t anything to do on the beach we were next too, It was quite noisy, and the 5am wake up call by the dustman on a bank holiday was unexpected But overall, it was a nice place to get our heads down. We only came for the beach over the bank holiday weekend. Owners were responsive and polite 😊

Had a great stay. Tony & Rosemary were responsive & quickly confirmed same day when we had a cancellation due to storm Darragh; they saved our little holiday. Tony & Rosemary were very kind/considerate & went out their way to make us feel welcome, including home made custard tarts. The hot tub - one of the best we've been in - sauna & gym were good, & free to use without restrictions. The bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped.

Great place, you can enjoy the place as its private and you can do what ever you like as long as you dont bother others around. Very clean and very easy to check in and out. Lots of shops around and very easy to drove to the beach. Overal i am very happy. I would definitely come back to this place.

I had a wonderful stay in West Bay! This flat is so cute and makes you feel right at home. It’s in a great location, right on the beach with a view of the cliffs. It’s just what I needed for a recharging and relaxing weekend. Would 100% stay here again!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the property, the accommodation was squeaky clean, the bedroom was comfortable. We all loved it and hope to book again next time 😊

Stayed for the Surf lifesaving comp at Branksome, apartment was good, everything we needed, location would be great for town, high street round the corner with places to eat.

Beautiful and peaceful setting. The pool and activities room and playgrounds were wonderful. You could book private sessions in the pool although we also found the communal sessions generally weren’t busy and we often had the pool to ourselves. It was perfect for our daughter as it wasn’t too deep which really helped her build confidence at swimming. We loved playing table tennis and badminton with our older child while the plentiful toys (especially the pedal tractor) kept the little one very happy! Lots to do in the surrounding area, although the peaceful/remote location meant they were all a fair drive away. Apartment was as pictured. It had everything we needed and was always warm- important for October half term break!

We couldn't have got better hosts or a better place to stay while in Ottery! Kat and Chris are welcoming, thoughtful, and attentive. The Hive was absolutely spotless and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The sauna was really relaxing and enjoyable. Would definitely stay again when visiting Ottery.

The Orchard Barn is located in a lovely area in the New Forest. Plenty of nice walks and restaurants all around. Everything inside is as described. The spa was a great addition and we really enjoyed both the sauna and the hot tub. Chris was very proactive and made sure we were allright every day. Definitely recommend it and surely we shall return. Andrei.

Outstanding. Sums up our stay in Julie and Paul’s property. Throughout the booking process Julie has kept in contact. A brilliant host and her description of her property was spot on. It was certainly a joy to stay here. The previous reviews were all positive and rightly so. My wife Tracy and me wholeheartedly agree. We will most certainly request to stay here again in 2025. We arrived late at night in the dark and Dan provided very helpful instructions and maps. He was also flexible re check out time which helped us out.

We had a wonderful few days at Carolyn’s place. Plenty to do on the caravan site if you wish but also lots of places to visit locally. Carolyn’s instructions were very clear and helpful and I would highly recommend to anyone

Great stay at Claire’s, the hot tub, sauna, bathroom and log fire were great. The outdoor area was super private and peaceful with good walking route right outdoor. Would definitely return 🥰 Also pay attention to the note about taxis in the advice booklet, we were nearly without one after a night in the village!

This has to be the most eclectic house we have stayed in as a family, but it provided constant entertainment and sparked imaginations. There is lots of room inside for 9 people a dog and a baby. The separate dining area and sittings rooms allowed people to be together and have private time. The garden area available was small for a large gathering but Barry was willing to open up further garden to us on asking. The sauna was a nice touch. There were enough bathrooms and the kitchen was equipped and functional The house is old as it says in the descriptions so if you have difficulty climbing stairs it would not be for you. The layout and contents of the house are not toddler friendly. There is no onsite parking, but the car park is a short distance away. The village is quaint and the coop very near by. We can recommend the tea shop, and would recommend booking early is you want to eat in the pub next door. There are lots of walks nearby and buses to other villages.
