Family-friendly holiday rentals in Weissenburg in Bayern

Gaby is a phenomenal hostess. She lives close by and made sure that we were comfortable. She noticed that there was no steam from our outside exhaust vent and contacted us that the heat may be out. It was and our hot water was also affected. She fixed the problem before there was any discomfort and we didn’t even realize that there was an issue. She was also nice enough to bring her dogs by so we could visit with them and love on them. The home is charming and quiet. We visited in the winter so we didn’t use the pool but my wife and I loved the jacuzzi tub and used it nightly! There were many board games to choose from and a smart TV if we just wanted to relax at night. We didn’t see a bahnhof (train stop) in town and the nearest grocery store is in Rothenburg, about 5KM away. So you’ll need a car. I think there is a guesthaus down the road with a restaurant but your choices are very limited in the village. There are also many stairs so the house is not ADA compliant.

Lovely airbnb in a nice quiet side street. Located close to a Lidl and a great beer garden with accompanying German restaurant. We loved the hot tub and amazing decoration and had a really pleasant stay!

Reiko is incredibly service minded and has a great home for 4 people. Nothing was missing, and Reiko was quick to respond if we asked anything. The only thing we missed was air conditioning in one of the rooms when it got incredibly hot. We would definitely recommend his place to others.

My boys and I really enjoyed the stay. It was all there what you needed. The location, the beautiful large garden including terrace, sauna, hot tub was a sheltered place to relax. We will be super happy to come back!

Excellent! We enjoyed our stay in Sabrine's home. She has a beautiful home that had all we needed plus a sauna as a bonus! On the cold days we happily sat in there and warmed up! The location is great - right next to a tram line and the main station. Great cafes, bakeries and restaurants in walking distance. Regina is very pleasant and showed us how things worked in the home. Highly recommend!!

we were very satisfied. I booked the space for a family weekend We have a one-year-old with us. There were a lot of toys in the apartment, behind the house a large garden with a fleet for the little ones, slide, balls, gates, shovels - everything a child's heart desires. The apartment is large, the bedrooms are upstairs. Everything is fine. Kitchen is nice and large, a nice fireplace is also available, which provides cozy warmth. The owners live downstairs and are very helpful. We enjoyed it very much, we felt very much at home. It's very quiet. Parking right outside the door. 25 km to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and 16 km to the outdoor museum Bad Windsheim. Highly recommend accommodation for families.

I have family in the Dollnstein area that we visited for 3 weeks in July 2024. We stayed at this property and fell in love with the village. The rental property itself is nice and spacious. There were 4 adults and 1 child who stayed at the property and there was plenty of room for us all. If we needed anything, Roland was very responsive and the property manager came right away. The kitchen is a highlight-it's huge with a full-size refrigerator. It is also convenient to have a washer on site for clothes. My only recommendations would be stronger wifi throughout the home (it's spotty in some areas) and clear directions on how to use appliances and tv (there was a learning curve with those at times). Overall, the village the place is located in is a true highlight. There is a quaint soccer park/playground area that my son and I visited daily. The villagers were kind and curious about us Americans but not in a rude way. We felt safe and happy the entire stay.

It was an excellent accommodation experience. Whether you drive or use the public transportation system, it's very convenient. There are also exclusive parking spaces right at the entrance. The interior is comfortable and spacious, and there is a wonderful garden outside. I believe it will be even more beautiful in spring. The facilities are also very complete. If I have the chance, I will definitely stay here again. It's highly recommended.

We, 6 women, felt very comfortable in the two apartments. We also enjoyed the soothing, cozy atmosphere, in the bright, tastefully furnished, quiet attic apartments. The kitchen was stocked, almost like a private kitchen at home and even with winter outside temperatures it was cuddly warm there. We found Marion to be a very accommodating, friendly and reliable landlady to our wishes.

was a very neat apartment and everything was spacious and clean. everything was to your liking and we had a nice stay. beds were good and the kitchen was neatly equipped. we were 4 friends to the fair and this was a good place to stay to stay over nights not too far from the fair.

I can recommend the brick mill 100 percent. The arrival was very pleasant, friendly welcome, parking right outside the door, play barn directly opposite, so you have a nice view of the children when unloading. Great activities: we enjoyed the barbecue and campfire with the hosts very much, just like our trip to the Ansbach adventure pool and the children's hiking trail Rüdisbronn. The brick mill is very quiet. Really great if you want to unplug for a few days. No negative aspects.

A very quiet location in a very attractive natural landscape. If you want to rest after a turbulent day in the middle of nature, we recommend Viktor's accommodation. We were on a business trip, but every day after we returned we were able to relax perfectly in the warm place. The property is also equipped with a sensational fireplace. Viktor has pre-cut wood and you can make a fire in the fireplace. We managed to take walks and runs along a creek in the morning and in the nearby forests. Viktor is a very friendly host and always helped us with quick solutions and answers to our needs.

Easily accessible from the highway. Very clean and spacious. Perfect for a stopover.

Very nice place to stay, I would definitely come again. Hopefully the COVID restrictions will be lifted soon and the swim area can be used by multiple families again, it would be a great place to hang out in the evenings for some social gatherings.

A Home Away from Home – 10 Stars If We Could! Our stay at Mrs. Heidi and Mr. Herbert’s home in Nuremberg this January was beyond exceptional. As first-time exhibitors at the trade fair, we were new to the city, but their warmth, kindness, and incredible hospitality made all the difference. The home itself was impeccably maintained, and to our surprise, the kitchen was fully stocked —making us feel even more at home. they personally ensured that our entire floor was cleaned daily with the utmost care. Such dedication and generosity are truly rare! Me and my two sons are deeply touched by their thoughtfulness and the genuine care they extended to us. Their home exudes warmth, comfort, an experience we will cherish forever. We cannot thank them enough for support. If we could, we would give them 10 stars! Very great and lovingly managed and thoughtful complex: four of us had the AC apartment ( enough space with a balcony, everything you need and very clean). The outdoor area is great for children and adults: natural pool ( nice and big) , playground and possibility to grill and the location on the small lake is really nice. The Ballheim family is super nice and you immediately feel welcome Thanks to Melanie!!
