Ruth's place was the perfect spot for our weekend away. Great location, easy access to the A1, pub next door and several walks on the doorstep. The annexe is very well equipped and Ruth has thought of all the extras that make the stay a real home from home and great if you've forgotten to bring anything. The private garden is lovely, even in January and a wonderful spot to watch the birds come and go. Ruth's breakfast supplies are generous and we loved how she checked in with us beforehand to find out our preferences. A fabulous find!

We had a lovely stay at Amber's - the cottage is cosy, well furnished and very comfortable. We ate ay great local pubs and enjoyed a spa in Stamford and a walk around Burgley House and Gardens. There was a small issue which was dealt with very quickly by our hosts and we were very impressed with the speed and the response. Overall a fabulous weekend which we would recommend!

What a fantastic host! Really enjoyed our stay, it was better than we could have imagined, perfect location, homely, pictures do not do the annexe justice! My partner and I had the most perfect weekend staying here. We felt instantly at home and it was so quiet, we could have been in the middle of nowhere. We loved everything about it, and enjoyed a long country walk without having to drive anywhere. The host, Emily, was so lovely, allowing me to arrive one hour before our official check-in time, as I wanted to prepare things ready, as it was a surprise birthday weekend.
