Such a sweet, well-equipped space. Everything was neat & tidy, and John's place had everything we could possibly need for our 3-night stay. Loved the drip coffee maker (other guests might prefer the Keurig), but the choice was there. Thanks for that option! Wildlife in backyard was just what we hoped for and proved an endless fascination for our dog. We will most definitely book John's home again if it is available the next time we are in the Wurtsboro area.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is super cozy and beautiful. The kitchen is so spacious and has everything you could possibly need to cook or bake, or just prep your meals and snacks. We happen to specifically love the rose gold coloring chosen throughout the kitchen. We love electric fireplaces and enjoyed warming up and relaxing on the very comfortable couch. The kids room was perfect for us. There was a pack and play which we used. Really everything you could need when going away was thought about and there. A lot of thought and care went into setting up this home. It was winter when we went so the lake was frozen but was beautiful view from the window. We had a wonderful stay and would love to go back!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Forest Nook in Wurtsboro, NY! She’s by far the most hospitable host we’ve ever encountered! She made us feel like family from the moment we arrived & even baked us a fresh blueberry loaf which was a perfect treat after a long flight! Throughout our stay, she went above and beyond her duties as a host. It honestly felt like we had known her for years. Her cabin is breathtaking, with a million-dollar lake view that we will never forget. From sunrise to sunset, you won't find a more peaceful, quiet, or beautiful spot. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get away from a big city & want a peaceful, relaxing stay. Everything you need is just a short 15-minute drive away in Middletown, and the drive is an experience in itself, winding through a gorgeous green landscape, as if you're cruising through a lush green forest. Vanessa made our stay incredibly comfortable & unforgettable! We will definitely be returning!
