Waterfront holiday rentals in Wading River

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and it was a wonderful experience. We were visiting our daughter and her family in Northport. Jeannette's apartment is beautiful and has a beachy, homey feel. We enjoyed a very relaxing week there and it made our stay in Northport extra special. Jeannette is a very welcoming and fantastic host!

Stayed here for a Valentines getaway and wow - we couldn’t have picked a better spot! Nate and Gloria gave us a whole list of amazing recommendations for our stay, and surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries and other goodies when we arrived! The home was in great condition and super clean when we arrived. They were always very responsive and kind as well! We are definitely looking forward to coming back and couldn’t recommend them enough!!

We loved staying at Nick’s while in Southampton! The property is quiet and private, with a short walk to the bay. The inside was clean and well furnished. We loved that it was pet friendly- there was a $50 pet fee which we didn’t know about when booking but we were happy to pay given how great the property was. We’d happily stay again!

Really impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. My only callout is expect to be surrounded by other guests, especially at the communal spaces outside – table, grill, etc. We overlapped with two different friend groups staying in a few of the properties, but everyone was really respectful and quiet. Just close quarters!

Anthea's place was great. It was immaculate, had everything you need and looked even better than the photos in person. The special touches like a couple drinks and some snacks to choose from were thoughtful and much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Andy's place was impeccably clean and well-appointed. I cook most of my meals while traveling and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics (oils, spices, soy sauce, vinegar) and all the necessary cookware (including containers & wrap to store leftovers & prepped food items). It was the type of Airbnb that felt more like visiting the home of a friend who had thoughtfully considered anything you might need. (including detergent for laundry & toiletries). This was refreshing in light of many Airbnb's feeling more like a Residence Inn, than a home. As a bonus, Andy has excellent taste in books and I wished my stay was longer so I could have read some of what was on the shelves.

Laura is an amazing host! She is thoughtful and responded so quickly when I reached out with any questions. The space is well thought out, warm, comfortable and charming. The neighborhood is totally walkable and safe, yet the place is not on the main road so there is essentially no street noise even though I could walk to main street in less than 5 minutes. I truly felt right at home and booked to stay when I come back to the area to work in a few weeks.

We found Dmitry's place to be just as advertised - it was warm, comfortable and well stocked for our family get together. We enjoyed the views of the water and the open common areas. We especially appreciated having a full bath and bedroom on the first floor for our elderly mother.

The place was absolutely beautiful, clean and had great amenities. The host was also very responsive and attentive to any questions we had to ask. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Steve and Dorry made sure all our needs were met including recommending places to eat and things to do. They are an incredibly kind couple who care about the people who rent their home. Everything was exactly as we expected! we had a beautiful view and the house was very comfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again ! Close to the many wineries and cute towns, and peaceful and comfortable to come back and relax at. We enjoyed the fire pit , the view from the dock of the changing tree colors and the flow of the kitchen. ❤️

After an initial snafu with my booking through the app, Debbie sprung to action, contacted me, and upgraded us to this house, which was even nicer and closer to the ocean than the house I originally wanted to book. I thought she handled what could have been a very upsetting situation extremely well and overcompensated for us, if anything. Place and location were wonderful. Definitely recommend.

Five stars doesn't feel like enough, if anything I'd say everything was better than we'd expected based on the pictures and the reviews! First, as others have mentioned John was an incredible host, the place was well stocked and had all sorts of snacks and drinks (and a nice bottle of wine); he also bought us dinner and was very good about keeping in touch the whole time we were there. The house was amazing top to bottom, but I have to specifically call out the pool, which was jaw-droppingly beautiful and the perfect temperature despite cold weather outside. We loved the neighborhood and yard to walk our dogs, and the kitchen was great to cook in (made me miss having a gas stovetop). We'll definitely be visiting again, it was the kind of stay that sets a new bar for what to look for in a vacation!

Perfect spot for a long weekend getaway! The house had everything we needed, and the views were breathtaking. The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making our stay stress-free and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!

lovely 2 bedroom with gorgeous water views from two roomy terraces , nice to wake up to the breeze of the water and the unspoilt natural surroundings of the wild sound. Thomas was a great host and very responsive

This was the perfect last-minute getaway for my always on-the-go family in need of some quiet bonding time. The condo was simple and clean, the beach beautiful (even in the winter), and Alice and Gasper were very responsive. Would highly recommend!

Such a beautiful condo by the water! Too bad we stayed in November, we would have enjoyed the terrace way more! Mia was so responsive and helpful with my questions prior to the weekend at her place.
