We have never felt so welcomed at an Airbnb. It felt like we were staying with friends. Pedro is a super-super host!! The road down is very narrow and goes through a cool old village. We arrived in the middle of a big storm and he came out to show us where to go and helped us get our luggage inside. The power went out the next morning, and he had pizza delivered for us. We were traveling with two small children and there were so many thoughtful touches. A crib with a little mattress, kids toys and books, and a baby gate for the stairs. There was fresh local baked bread delivered to our door every morning! You can tell Pedro and Monica have put their heart and soul into this property. If you want an off the beaten path, intimate Portugal Airbnb experience, you should stay here!!

This place is amazing, the views are as good as those at Quinta Do Seixio. Just beautiful, stunning. Also the house is very charming & outstanding views from the living room & kitchen. JUST WOW!! While the driveway is intimidating, you get used to it after 2-3 times & it's fine.

Pedro’s place was great - we had a lovely stay and the location was perfect for exploring the Douro Valley, plus only 1.5hrs from Porto airport. Five of us total stayed - one thing to mention is that two of the five bedrooms are downstairs but not connected internally to the main bit of the house. I’m not sure if it was mentioned in the listing description and we just missed it, but it may have changed our preference regarding where to stay. The downstairs rooms were also a bit damp, but that may have been because we stayed in Winter / January. The wifi was great as a few of us worked for a little bit. As the other reviews mention, the driveway is a bit hairy.. other than that, great place, loved the look of the pool (though didn’t get to use as we stayed in winter). Thank you for a lovely stay.

Otima Casa, my family and I were in an 8, everything was perfect, we would stay 2 nights, but it was so good that we decided to stay longer, we will definitely be back.😊

A beautifully restored home with large garden - we felt very welcomed by Susana on arrival. Overall we experienced bad weather during our stay but really enjoyed relaxing by the pool on our one day of sunshine - this is a better house to stay in during the summer months to maximise usage of pool area and lovely gardens. The house is well equipped and conveniently located in the town. We enjoyed our night at the wine bar in the basement - very interesting and high quality local wines available.

First, I would like to point out that Mr. António was an impeccable host, always very responsive and friendly. The house is exactly as described in the listing. There's a lot of space, it's easy for 10 people, the pool has a beautiful view and everything was very organized and clean. We just got a little disillusioned with the main bathroom because it was too small and tight. WiFi was not working very well either. The entrance to the house is also a little narrow and difficult to access. Moreover, it was a fantastic experience to repeat and recommend. Once again, I would like to thank Mr António for making the stay more enjoyable and for its accessibility.

The stay was absolutely wonderful! The house is very comfortable and welcoming, with everything needed for a perfect experience. The view is simply breathtaking, breathtaking, and made every moment even more special. It was amazing to wake up every day with such a beautiful setting. We had a great time, loved the beautiful surroundings and nature, very peaceful and completely match the description. We ordered the breakfast package it was awesome waking up to have your breakfast ready. Excellent hospitality, highly recommend.
