Holiday houses in Van Buren Township

The place is nice! Orginized and very clean, we love pets and they have pets(very friendly) which is a plus for us, smooth communication with the host and the guest book is very informative like nearby restaurants, activities, etc. The lake is just there, the yard is so huge, lots of activities can be done. Games are also provided for the kids to enjoy, The Igloo is awesome, it’s a perfect place to stay if you are looking to get away from the busy city life!

We loved staying here for our girls weekend. We enjoyed the local wineries and sitting on the deck in the evening watching the sunset!

The place was exactly as posted with everything that we need. I would like to book same place again for my next trip. The host is amazing and very responsive and helpful. We forgot our phone when we checked out but when we pinged Tommy in the next day, he immediately responded and returned to us.

This home is so comfortable and cozy and decorated to the nines. Sitting on the large couch by the fire and looking outside at the ice-covered lake was very relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed cooking meals in the fully stocked kitchen and dining at the big harvest table. The bed, although a bit of a small space for my tall husband, was extremely comfy as were the pillows! It's just a short drive to the wineries but we didn't want to be gone too long as we wanted to enjoy the house. There was a technical issue with the television, and the host had informed us even before we arrived. She was very apologetic and offered tech support to come out and fix it. This home is beyond fabulous and I can't wait to visit it again and again!

An excellent place to stay. Was really impressed with how well appointed the kitchen was. Currently, all the photos of the master bathroom are a bit out of date as they renovated the bathroom, and it looks actually much nicer. Overall, we had a great time at a wonderful place.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Unit A for Valentine’s week, we had a wonderful time! Very romantic and loved the private hot tub with the string lights. Greg is very helpful and friendly, he was even out shoveling in the morning after we had a snow fall!

Mary Sue’s cottage is clean, comfortable, cozy, and charming with a beautiful, unobstructed view of the lake. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. We enjoyed biking to Ure’s for a delicious country-style breakfast, touring a local winery and brewery, and visiting several quaint neighboring towns. The Salty Dog in Amherstburg should not be missed! Another fun weekend find was the Polish Beach Club, which is a unique back-yard authentic restaurant on a private stretch of sandy beach. We wished we’d had access to kayaks or a paddle boat; but all in all, it was a lovely stay, and Mary Sue was a wonderful host!

Lovely cottage back in the shore of Lake Erie. The cottage is very clean, amazing lake view and inviting. The kitchen is fully stocked. The host Jen is very friendly and responsive! Thank you !

Went for a few days to relax and take time off with friends and this was a perfect place for that. The view is gorgeous, you are sitting right on lake Erie and the sound of the waves is so soothing. The house was new, clean, and had very nice decor and amenities. The hot tub was clean and easy to use, definitely a highlight for my group. The kitchen was also so well stocked we had no issues at all with cooking dinner. We also used the grill and it is a great grill very nice and user friendly. the patio also had comfortable seating and with the canopy managed to stay dry for us to sit outside even though it was raining during our stay. You are literally around the corner from a Winery and many more a short drive away. We now love Amherstberg and plan to come back soon!
