Waterfront holiday rentals in Vale of Glamorgan

This was our first visit to Cardiff in many years and the apartment was lovely and spacious. The location was walkable to the city center and Cardiff Bay. Amanda was a great host and very welcoming and responsive. We will definitely come back!

Lovely flat at a great location. Only a few minutes' walk to Cardiff town centre so getting food was really easy. Our ground floor flat was comfortable and had everything the 2 of us needed. It was nice to have a microwave and kitchenette so we had the option of eating in, glad we chose this over a large chain hotel for this very reason. On-street parking was easy, not too expensive during the day and free after 6pm. Will stay again the next time we're in Cardiff. Great accommodation and responsive host

After a small glitch at start (not owners fault but was sorted immediately) we loved the 2 bedroom apartment! It's just around the corner from restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. There is 2 balconies plus a rooftop terrace. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen has all you will need if you want to cook a meal.We had great communication with owner who was gracious enough to check and make sure we had everything we needed. Our first trip to Cardiff but will definitely be back! If I had one small thing to complain about the sofa in living area not very comfortable but I'm only nit picking on that..Thank you Kimberly for our brilliantly few days away!

Huw is a fantastic host. Really proactive and friendly. The apartment really is a great place to stay. Super comfortable bed, under floor heating and has everything you need for a great stay. Sitting out on the balcony with the beautiful view over the river was so peaceful! Highly recommend this Huws when staying in Cardiff, would definitely book again. Thanks

Nothing but nice things to say about both the accommodations and Gemma’s willingness to be accommodating when my travel plans changed. A quiet spot to recharge and an easy walk to Mermaid Quay and the Millennium Centre. Don’t miss breakfast at The Sultan!

Fantastic, modern and relaxing home. Very warm and cosy. No noise from neighbours and everything is accessible. Barry is a great location and everyone was very nice. Host Alex is very helpful and responsive Well recommend and will be staying again 👍

Perfect location, easy check in, fantastic host. Everything was super clean, and just as cosy and cute as in the pictures. The instructions provided were clear and easy, the place was equipped with all mod cons, and little touches like breakfast items and chocolates! What a lovely place, a little picturesque hideaway, far enough from the town centre to be quiet and relaxed, but close enough to walk to town should you wish to. 5 stars!! :-)

The property is easy to find from the train station , the hills are not to steep, you can stroll Into Barry town centre in around 20/25 mins , there are a few eating places but limited watering holes. The room itself is comfortable enough I just used it to sleep in as I was visiting family the rest of the time. There are pets but they were no trouble whatsoever, I even had one of the dogs greet me at the front door when I came in just so he could say hello, the cat did enjoy a bit of a fuss aswel. Sadly on my visit I didn't get the chance to meet or talk to Sarah for any length of time due to her being at work and me flirting in and out. All in all a very nice stay and very reasonable, won't hesitate to book again in the future .

Joy is a nice lady who changes her hairstyle everyday or twice a day. You can cook in her house as long as you remember switch off the fire. Cardiff is a small place, which means even Joy's house is not in the town, you can still walk to the town in 20 minutes. Just don't bother taking the train.

The place was cosy and felt like home. Very clean and welcoming. I felt like it was a best choice than going for a hotel rooms and of course very reasonable. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

Paul the host was very welcoming, provided lots of information on the area and made us feel very welcome. He has a lovely home and a very friendly, beautiful house cat called Toby. Recommend this place to stay 👍

Walking distance to city centre and train station. Easy check in and host allowed us to check out after 14:00. Very lovely host. Booked 2 rooms but seemed we had the whole house to ourselves.

A lovely place to stay in Mumbles, newly renovated, very clean and spacious. Ideal for a short break it had everything we needed. Great communication. Beautiful view over Swansea Bay from the kitchen/living area.

We had such a lovely stay at Mumblesescape. The apartment is modern, spacious, warm and in a perfect location - close to restaurants, shops and the coastal walk. The dog loved it and so did my boys. Having a hot tub was the icing on the cake! Thank you for a lovely stay, we’ll definitely be back!

Really good location and lovely flat with a great view of the marina

The apartment was excellent in location and quality. It has everything you need for a short or long stay. Warm and quiet with off street parking with a stunning sea view. Everything was modern and clean. It was lovely to meet Sue on check out. A big thank you to Mark's neighbour Val who kindly let us park our second car in her space. Communication with Mark was brilliant. Knowing the area well, I knew that Sand Bay is a great place to explore. Sand Point has fantastic views across the Bristol Channel. Thank you for a memorable stay, we loved it and will certainly return!

Second time we have stayed. Beautiful apartment with a lovley view. Great communication. Spotlessly clean. 5/10 min walk to the center. Secure parking. Will be returning next year. Happy customer x

A wonderful stay in a great apartment. It’s even nicer than the photos. The hosts were great, very accommodating, responsive and helpful. There aren’t many steps to the apartment and it was easy to get in and out. Highly recommended. I would love to stay again,

What a fantastic place to stay! A beautiful location by the river. The balcony was perfect for relaxing and watching the ebb and flow of the tide. The whole place was welcoming from the second we walked in with lovely modern and clean decor throughout. Shona was fantastic with an initial query re. a key to the balcony and very quickly sorted it for us. She was also very kind in keeping us up to date with road closures due to a marathon on our day of departure and even gave us extra time to check out, so that we weren't rushed. We can 100% recommend this apartment and Shona as a host.
