Waterfront holiday rentals in Vale of Glamorgan

This was our first visit to Cardiff in many years and the apartment was lovely and spacious. The location was walkable to the city center and Cardiff Bay. Amanda was a great host and very welcoming and responsive. We will definitely come back!

Lovely flat at a great location. Only a few minutes' walk to Cardiff town centre so getting food was really easy. Our ground floor flat was comfortable and had everything the 2 of us needed. It was nice to have a microwave and kitchenette so we had the option of eating in, glad we chose this over a large chain hotel for this very reason. On-street parking was easy, not too expensive during the day and free after 6pm. Will stay again the next time we're in Cardiff. My Grandson and I had a great visit in Barry. The house was centrally located and had a great view.

Stephen was in touch as soon as I booked to confirm a few details and came across as very friendly, helpful and accomodating. He arranged to meet us to check in and show us to our parking space and around the apartment. He gave us clear directions on how to get to Mermaid Quay and into town for the concert the next day. He made us feel very welcome and at home. His apartment is the perfect location to explore Cardiff and to attend Concerts at The Principality Stadium. I would definitely recommend. After a small glitch at start (not owners fault but was sorted immediately) we loved the 2 bedroom apartment! It's just around the corner from restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. There is 2 balconies plus a rooftop terrace. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen has all you will need if you want to cook a meal.We had great communication with owner who was gracious enough to check and make sure we had everything we needed. Our first trip to Cardiff but will definitely be back! If I had one small thing to complain about the sofa in living area not very comfortable but I'm only nit picking on that..Thank you Kimberly for our brilliantly few days away!

Huw is a fantastic host. Really proactive and friendly. The apartment really is a great place to stay. Super comfortable bed, under floor heating and has everything you need for a great stay. Sitting out on the balcony with the beautiful view over the river was so peaceful! Highly recommend this Huws when staying in Cardiff, would definitely book again. Thanks

Lovely little place we felt right at home for the whole stay. Squeaky clean, spacious and an extremely comfy bed! Alex is very friendly and was super responsive the whole trip. Overall amazing stay will definitely be staying again in the future 😊x

Loved our short stay in Cardiff, house was lovely and exactly what had been described, easy to walk to from the city centre. Local area was wonderful lots of fun to explore and lots to do! Moon was a great host and made the trip easy and stress free.

Joy is a nice lady who changes her hairstyle everyday or twice a day. You can cook in her house as long as you remember switch off the fire. Cardiff is a small place, which means even Joy's house is not in the town, you can still walk to the town in 20 minutes. Just don't bother taking the train.

Simple accommodation, nearby pubs and restaurants. Perfect for a place to stay in a short weekend getaway. Host is very clear with instructions and easy to communicate with.

Brilliant stay. Excellent value and lovely location. Great for visiting Cardiff but also was able to drive to beautiful country side easily. would definitely stay again and recommend. It was great meeting Stuart, his partner, and of course his cat!

Paul the host was very welcoming, provided lots of information on the area and made us feel very welcome. He has a lovely home and a very friendly, beautiful house cat called Toby. Recommend this place to stay 👍

The home is deceptively large, just as you would experience if you stepped into Dr Who's Tardis with large, spacious and modern accommodation. Set on 4 floors, with a modern rear extension, there are four apartments/rooms, plus a pool room, with bright clean, luxurious bathrooms, and a guest toilet on the ground floor. The 'piece de la resistance' is the lower ground kitchen with large counter tops, two ovens, microwave, double fridge, tons of storage and TV room/diner which forms the heart of the home, with views and access on to a private terrace/garden. You are surrounded by lots of take away restaurants, pubs and cafes, with attractive marinas all around. There's an abundance of parking. The TV on the lower ground floor has all the apps/channels you need but if you are watching TV elsewhere, I suggest bringing an Amazon Firestick or Google Chromecast. You can bring other devices and simply input an HDMI to any of the TVs. It's a small critic but it's worth knowing about.

Aros is a perfect place to stay right in the middle of Mumbles Road with everything on your doorstep. Lovely welcome gifts and plenty of tea, coffee etc, lovely smellies in the bathrooms so don’t pack your own! Even with very grey weather the apartment shone. Sarah was a very responsive host. Would recommend and stay again.

We had a lovely few days away. The apartment is right on the seafront so really easy to walk to all shops and restaurants. When not running on the beach, the dog loved his spot in front of the window, watching everyone go by! The apartment had everything we needed and a handy lift to help with unloading the car. The hot tub was also a welcome addition on those cold evenings (max 2 people) My only two requests would be.. As there is only 1 parking space, perhaps a parking permit for the front for an additional car? Or options for cheap overnight parking Ability to get warm water from the outdoor shower after spending time on the beach ◡̈ Jan and Wayne were easy to get in contact with if needed. Lovely apartment in a great town, thank you! We will be back in the future.

Really good location and lovely flat with a great view of the marina

A cosy self contained flat, ideal for a small family, couple or someone on their own. Clean and tidy, the host’s representative was there on time to hand keys over and give the relevant information (it was January so how to work the heating was a must!). Kewstoke itself is a quiet village where you can go on walks along the coast or head to Weston Super Mare on the bus (you can walk if you feeling adventurous). I went for a quiet couple of days, to get some steps in and catch up on reading, mission accomplished!

Second time we have stayed. Beautiful apartment with a lovley view. Great communication. Spotlessly clean. 5/10 min walk to the center. Secure parking. Will be returning next year. Happy customer x

A great place with new beautiful surroundings. Had a small issue with the washing machine but the owner was quick to respond and solved the issue. It was a pleasant stay.

Absolutely loved it here! We were visiting family in the area and usually stay at a hotel but thought we’d try something different for a change . The lock box was easy to use to get the keys and enter the building. It smelled lovely as you walked in everywhere was pristine it was like home from home. Everything I could have thought of was there to use and Shona was very responsive when we needed to message her . We definitely will be back again as this was a great base for the shops and train station.
