Family-friendly holiday rentals in Vada

My friends and I celebrated New Year's Eve in this farmhouse surrounded by Tuscan nature. The house and garden are beautiful! The hosts were impeccable and responsive to our every request. I would recommend it for a quiet stay with friends. We found some bugs but the hosts were very kind and made us have an insecticide spray.

Gina’s place is absolutely phenomenal. Stunning, out of this world location and a very comfortable villa. Gina was an amazing host who welcomed us personally and showed us around. We had a good basket and freshly cooked food as a welcome gift!! I cannot recommend Le Capanne highly enough. It was awesome.

The house is so nice, clean and cozy. Daniele gives us many helpful tips and place to go, very nice and proactive host.We enjoy our stay very much thanks to Daniele. The place is peaceful and easy to go anywhere, Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Cinque terra. Such a lovely house , highly recommend for family trip👍🏼

Our stay at Giacomo's was very nice. We were a group of 6 and had good space in and around the house. The kitchen had everything relevant, the beds are comfortable and the garden is mega large and beautiful. Giacomo and his parents are very nice people, we even received a cake which was very very tasty. Giacomo also gave us tips for the area and accommodated our needs. We thank Giacomo and his parents for the lovely stay!

We just finished our stay here and it was great. Peaceful setting, quiet and beautiful. The villa was spacious, updated and clean yet retained its rustic charm and character. My kids enjoyed seeing the animals and feeding the pigs. The hosts Cristina and Carmelo are amazing and really take pride in what they’ve created here and it shows. We had a great time and will definitely be back again in future. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed in this apartment for a few days and the experience was absolutely perfect! The location is ideal: it is in a quiet area, but still close to the heart of Florence. In 15/20 minutes on foot you can reach both Santa Maria Novella Station and the Duomo. The apartment is clean, well-furnished and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is safe and well served, with restaurants, bars and clubs nearby for those who want to enjoy the nightlife. This apartment is an excellent choice for those who visit Florence: comfortable, well located and with all the necessary services at your fingertips. Absolutely recommended, I'll definitely be back!

Monica is very welcoming. The value for money is very good. Be careful if you have small children because there are slightly steep stairs to access the accommodation.

Matrace is of memory foam. I slept very well but just something you should know if you don‘t like this type of matrace. Extra blankets were there and overall super comfortable bed. Wifi speed was fine, not as fast as I would have liked. Host was really nice. We would definitely come back here! Use the app „easypark“ for nearby affordable parking on a „pay as you go“ basis. Shop im the nearby esselunga supermarket.

We found the apartment very clean and as described, and the hosts were very friendly. They gave us tips for excursions upon arrival. Anna Maria and her husband have designed a little paradise here. If you are looking for peace, you will also find it in this beautiful environment. The terrace is not only perfect for sunsets, but also for the view of the starry sky! The space was sufficient for us with two children, as we were usually outside anyway. We can recommend the small shop in neighboring Colle d'Orano. We really enjoyed the week in Patresi!

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

Magical stay at Paola's. Difficult to describe in a few words all the kindness she showed with us, we immediately felt at home. Paola picked us up by car from the station and greeted us with a nice bottle of wine and pizza - delicious -, difficult to have a better arrival especially after a long trip. She was very proactive throughout our stay and even took us half a day into the Chianti so we could visit a vineyard because we didn't have a car - we still can't go back from her generosity! She takes care of all her guests and her property is beautiful, we enjoyed the pool and the apartment is wonderfully well decorated and equipped. We would highly recommend staying with Paola, the best airbnb host we've had. Thanks again for everything Paola, you were wonderful, and we are already dreaming of coming back! Arrivederci!:)

Claudia is a great host, always very helpful and super nice. We felt very comfortable. The apartments have everything you need, the pool is great - very clean and with a wonderful view. The location is also great - in about 15 minutes you are in the Volterra and it only takes half an hour to get to San Gimignano. We will be happy to come back and thank you for the delicious oil and the beautiful vacation!

Beautiful place between Cecina and Volterra to stay in complete tranquility and relaxation in the Tuscan hills, panora and fantastic sunset. Convenient to visit medieval villages and not far from the famous Etruscan coast and for those who love cities you can reach Pisa and Siena. Fausto is a fantastic host, accurate and very helpful, but not intrusive, he gave us directions to places to visit, typical beaches and also very nice restaurants nearby. Our stay was pleasant and relaxing what we wanted was to stay away from the confusion and daily stress, if this is what you are looking for here you can find it... you will only hear the "noise" of cicadas.

We spent a wonderful week in Cristina's house in Fabbiano and really enjoyed our break from everyday life there. The house is beautifully integrated into the small, quiet, very romantic place. You enjoy a wonderful view of the valley and the mountains from the garden and can also take a beautiful hike from the house. Cristina's welcome was very warm and made us feel really welcome in her house. We could always ask them if we needed advice. The garden is fantastic. Unfortunately, it was already too cold for the pool. For this, we enjoyed the fireplace. Despite the mixed weather, we did a lot because the house is centrally located between the sea, the mountains and some very beautiful cities (e.g. Viareggio, Lucca, Pisa, Bargo). Since the garden is completely fenced, our dog was also able to move freely the whole time. For small families who love tranquility and seclusion, the house is ideal

We had a lovely time with Cristiana and Sergio. The apartment "La Margherita" was very clean and spacious. The children enjoyed the pool and there was plenty of room for everyone. We received helpful tips and Cristiana was always open to questions and responded very quickly. For chess lovers, there is a beautiful board in a great location. Highly recommended!

Five friends made to feel very welcome to this beautiful spacious villa with a lovely pool set amongst olive groves. The scenery that surrounded us was beautiful. Invited to Mark's villa who shared his knowledge and history of the olive groves which was very interesting and the hospitality received was first class (vino and yummy bruschetta's). This was the perfect place to stay and would highly recommend.

Andrea's accommodation was everything that we anticipated, from arrival to departure. We were welcomed by two amazing ladies who explained all that we needed to know about the house. We were a family of five, and the open plan layout with the kitchen area (fully equipped), dining area and lounge suited our Christmas celebrations. Andrea provided a Christmas tree which added to the festive atmosphere. The large fireplace in the lounge was great. It really did feel like home from home. Simona provided a pasta making session for my family that made for a delicious dinner. Planning to return soon.

The place is magnificent and very well kept, clean and super cozy. It's a little out of the way but we chose it just for the secluded location and surrounded by nature; in any case with a halfhour by car you can get to several wonderful places. Nicola was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend a stay here, it's refreshing!!

The perfect place to stay in Tuscany, beautiful home and gardens. We loved the views and the amazing swimming pool. The house had loads of character and was very homely and comfortable. Loved the location, not too far from Lucca and only 30 mins from Pisa airport. Andrea was a very friendly and helpful host too. Wonderful stay - thank you!

Fantastic accommodation with lovely views of the countryside. Especially loved the fire place and large spacious kitchen. Charley and Ann were very gracious hosts and I would have no problem recommending this accommodation to anyone who wants to visit Tuscany. The accommodation was within 30 mins of most tourist towns and trains which made it excellent for day trips.

Great location - close if you are flying into/from the Florence airport - extremely close to to Villa Antinori - Dario Ceccini in Panzano - San Gimignano - Siena, etc. Pictures are representative of the apartment - grounds exceed the pictures. Grounds are very well maintained. The pool is exceptional. Great cats and dogs to welcome you throughout the day. Kitchen is very workable, knives are sharp, gas stove and kitchen utensils are stocked and ready for your carbonara or amatriciana. Plenty of staff is located on premises but are not at all intrusive. 11 out of 10. Will return.

The house was large and roomy and each room had a private bath with a good shower. The kitchen was well equipped. The hostess was extraordinarily generous with the little things she made available to us. We might have wanted to grill for a dinner but the outdoor grill was rather greasy and not appealing to use. The one drawback ( that was not her fault) was the horrible condition of the road leading to the house. All in all, a great stay.
