Farmstay holiday rentals in Upstate South Carolina

Felt like home away from home. Very clean, comfortable beds, couches etc. Very private. Don even had unlimited amounts of fire wood ready to go for us. We will definitely be staying here again when we’re visiting our daughter in college.

We were absolutely amazed by the service provided as soon as we arrived. Whatever we needed was readily available, and the hosts had thought of every detail. The property was spotless and perfect in every way. The house itself is beautiful, and the farm offers a breathtaking view. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing and memorable vacation!

Perfect little getaway for the weekend! Ruth greeted us with friendly arms as soon as we got there and showed us around! Super nice to have access to a golf cart to explore their land! And not to mention a hot tub all to ourselves! Even with it not being too warm we definitely still took advantage of that! Would love to come back in the summer so we can utilize the pool!!

First of all, let me start with saying that Margaret is an absolutely FANTASTIC host. I messed up my departure date and didn’t realize it until the day of, after check out time (first time that has ever happened to me, horrible!😭) and she was SO HELPFUL, so understanding and just the absolute best!!❤️❤️❤️ Margaret’s place is very cute and neat. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need (the big Christmas mugs were my favorite!). I loved all the fluffy blankets and the electric fireplace was a nice touch too, since it was really cold this week. The view over the mountains and pastures is really pretty too and the house is very centrally located, close to Franklin but in a quiet area.

5 stars in almost every category. Overall we had an awesome time and our girls enjoyed being so up close and personal with all of the animals! And the house was decorated for Christmas which was such a nice touch! We would love to come back to experience the area in the summer months!

Frank was such a wonderful host! My husband and I started our honeymoon here, and it was perfectly quaint, private, and peaceful! We will be back!

Our family had a great time. The house was perfect for our group of 6. It was clean and welcoming. We also loved the close by downtown area of Rabun - Lots of shops and restaurants.

This is our second time staying at Mandy’s place and it was a wonderful stay! Mandy is so friendly and responsive. Her place is so peaceful, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this home and will be staying there again when we are in the area!

Sharon’s cabin is so quaint and cozy! Downtown Waynesville and Lake Junaluska were super close by and easy to access. Sharon is a great host and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy get away in the mountains!

We loved staying here! It was a great house for two couples, a baby, and a dog. The scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub! We ran into one minor maintenance issue late our first night. Vincent responded to messages within minutes, worked to help us with the issue, and was over first thing the next morning to completely solve it. Having a responsive and helpful host always makes a stay for us, so we really appreciated it! We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Doris and Shanna have set a new standard for hospitality. When I booked their cottage, they sent a comprehensive list of their favorite restaurants and activities in the area. They provided great directions, and getting to and in the cottage was very easy. They had the gas logs going for our arrival, which was lovely on a cold January afternoon. The house had everything we needed (and then some)! Hairdryers are pretty standard in Airbnbs, but this one has shampoo, conditioner and sensitive-skin body wash! There's even separate shampoo and conditioner for men. Our hosts had a personal note of welcome for us and left our a basket of snacks, including the ingredients for S'mores, which we made over the firepit. They had even PRE-BUILT the logs and newspaper in the fire pit for us and covered it with a metal bucket so that all we had to do was light it. I highly recommend this wonderful cottage. We look forward to returning.

We loved it here in Tryon! Unfortunately it rained all weekend, but we were still able to enjoy the grounds for a small window of time. The space was beautiful and so comfortable - a PERFECT place for a romantic weekend getaway. Loved that we were also able to bring our pups with us and meeting Luna and Big Ben were definitely the highlight of our weekend. We can’t wait to enjoy it again soon!

Everything was just as described in the listing. The bathroom is huge and the kitchen was beautiful. The location is very peaceful and there’s not a lot of traffic noise from the road. The only thing you hear when you walk out in the morning is the birds chirping. If you plan on going out after dark make sure you leave the porch light on. It’s very dark on that country road and you won’t be able to see anything. Our stay was right after the cold snap so I would love to come back in spring or fall when everything is green and colorful.

Absolutely wonderful. Gayla was super helpful with everything, even went out of her way to put out some Christmas decorations and hot cocoa bombs for my kids. The house was perfectly clean and we felt right at home. She had everything we needed to cook and relax for the holidays. Definitely recommend staying with Gayla if you're in the area.

If you like quiet this is the place for you. Squeaky clean, very well stocked and the hosts are amazing. Bonus for animal livers-bring some carrots and feed the farm animals. Goats, chickens, pigs, turkeys, and several dogs. Too much fun!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully serene location. We loved all the windows and being surrounded by trees. Delightful deck, and lovely open kitchen/dining/living area with comfy seating. Matthew was very helpful, responsive, and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful and serene property! Room for kids to run, the sprawling farm had animals galore which were vocal and interactive. Several kitties greeted us coming and going into the welcoming hot tub and sauna, which was wonderful when the temps dipped down to 10 degrees! Home was easy to find with provided instructions and grocery was quite close! Overall a superb stay and would recommend this property to anyone that needs a calming get away!

We have stayed in a lot of homes. Robbie’s home by far has been the top of our places to stay. The home was gorgeous inside and out. We felt right at home. Was peaceful, quiet and beautiful. I took a lot of inspiration pics for our home. We travel a lot to Franklin and will def be staying again.

Was a wonderful place to stay for a little weekend get away. Wonderful location to waynesville and Maggie valley. Such a great spot!
