Great little spot very quiet and comfortable

A little tricky to find entrance gate at first, but speedy response. Property is really a small group of luxury villas and "apartments." Two sloths typically hang out on property. Luxury resort farther down the road. Everything was magical. One of the best Air BnB properties I've ever stayed in.

Our stay at the farm was wonderful! The farm is charming with horses, chickens, cows, and puppies. Meylin and Bernard are friendly hosts and gave us great ideas of where to eat and enjoy our time here. The house is gorgeous and has all the amenities. The hot tub is perfect on the deck looking out on a lovely stream. We had a few small issues and Meylin was supportive and fixed it right away. Highly recommend a stay here.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful place surrounded by nature. We loved the garden, hot tub and bbq area. Amilcar and his wife were so friendly and helpful a during our stay. It’s a perfect place for a couple or a four person trip. The internet was excellent, we worked online all week with no issues. Thank you to Amilcar for your hospitality! We will be back :)

We LOVED this Airbnb. I thought it was even more attractive than the photos online. Felt peaceful, yet the lively town of La Fortuna only a few minutes away. I wish we had more time to spend here and would happily stay again if in the area. Highly recommend!

Host was great, easy, accommodating. Place was clean, pleasant , comfortable. Easy to find, close to town, pretty setting. We enjoyed our stay, highly recommended!

We spent 2 nights and were very satisfied with the house. Everything was perfect and well-equipped. The host welcomed us with small details to make us feel welcome. Great place if you are an avid bird watcher! Peaceful and located near a few national parks and wildlife refuges. We saw over 50 species of birds right from the deck overlooking the pond. The parrots will give you a morning wake up call:) Highly recommend!

Brandon’s place is a little diamond in the rough, it’s a beautiful little escape in the lush environments of Bihagua. I would highly recommend a stay at his place.

It is very off the beaten path, but we knew that when we booked. I did feel like it was safe. The road in was fine for us without four wheel drive but it didn’t rain hard while we were there. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Pure Trek/Hot Springs area. This is the only downside. We would do our activities for the day and go back for the night. Lara’s Food in Chachagua has great fried chicken! The place is absolutely beautiful. The setting was worth the drive for us. Irene has added many thoughtful touches in and around the house. We didn’t see sloths or toucans on the property, but we learned on guided tours that we aren’t very good at spotting them! We did see lots of lizards, including a big basilisk, and bullfrogs around the pool at night, and heard and saw lots of birds. We also saw tiny bats that were so cute! The river, birds, and insects make the most enchanting surrounding. It’s a wonderful place!

Gerardo’s place was fantastic! We had a blast! Independent how great our daily activity was on any on the days, we always looked forward getting back to the house. The place was very quiet and private surrounded with beautiful trees. Leaves were cleaned; everything was pleasant. House is also surrounded with gravel, so the place must be very comfortable and not muddy in rainy season as well. There was no AC, but interestingly, we did not feel the need for one. Slept with open windows and with a fan on; it was great. The kitchen was simple, yet was always capable of making nice breakfasts. Grocery store was very close, less than 5 min drive. Every morning enjoyed the great view of trees. My kids saw exotic animals at the river. The pool was very clean and great for chilling off at the end of the day. Danny was very sweet and always helpful. Gerardo offered nice breakfast for us!! The food his wife made for us was just amazing! I will definitely go back again and 100% recommend the place

It was a nice cottage located in the greenery, close to a stream. With in the garden and in the trees by the stream, there were many birds and other animals, such as sloths, hummingbirds, parrots and not to forget. We enjoyed the location and felt very much at home there. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy peace and nature. In addition, Edgar was a wonderful, friendly and very likeable host. From the cottage you can reach La Fortuna within half an hour by car, at the Aranal volcano. From the cottage, where we stayed for 4 weeks, we made various day trips. One of the favorites was, we are nature lovers, a relatively short car ride towards Pocosol to enjoy the nature, the birds and the swimming in the mountain river. In the slightly further location, Pocosol Biological Station (Estación Pocosol, Bosque Eterno de los Niños) you can take beautiful forest walks on well marked and maintained trails. All in all recommended.

Great stay, and would stay again. Close to downtown, little trinket to drive down road to get there (advise not to at night) but that’s just Costa Rica in general! Great stay overall!

Gerardo’s place was amazing. I’m so happy we booked here instead of somewhere in La Fortuna town. The interior design was beautiful and we loved the large tub. The bed was super comfortable and we loved how tranquil the area was. Lots of privacy and perfect for a romantic getaway. Even better than the photos!

Beautiful place with all the necessities

This is our second time back at this air bnb and we could not be happier. The breakfast provided by the abuela and abuelo is absolutely delicious and worth every penny. The host is responsive and helpful with any and all questions and you can tell there is a lot of care put into these cute cabins and beautiful surroundings. This is a place we will continue to come back to for years to come.

Very Beautiful property, I thought having host on property maybe overwhelming but not the case at all..your own privacy. I highly recommend this place if u want to chill in a natural peaceful place. Ducks and puppy's are awesome also.

Our stay was simply fantastic. The perfect place to unwind surrounded by nature. It is easily accessible by car via a short gravel road (4x4 is not necessary). On site, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts. Katherine took us to the adjacent jungle path where she showed us a sloth with baby. The place was very clean and lovingly decorated. Pool and outdoor shower were real highlights. The first night we ordered dinner and breakfast from Katherine. Both were delicious, especially the porridge we highly recommend. The rest of the days we cooked ourselves. Flora and fauna were wonderfully watched from the terrace. The bed was very comfortable and we slept excellently. On the last evening, the Wi-Fi (provider problem) was out. Cristopher offered us a free breakfast as an apology! Dear Katherine, Cristopher and family: Thank you so much for having us guests in your little paradise!
