Lovely spot in a quiet neighborhood. Fenced back yard was great for the dogs. Had a comfortable stay in a clean environment. Close to downtown and all its charm :) Will definitely go back!

Had an amazing time!

We had a wonderful week's stay in what is actually a grand old house. Downstairs the living room is spacious with an inviting wood burning fireplace insert and seating for 6 - 8 for our family gatherings. The dining room has a beautiful table with standard 6 chairs, plus more if needed, and the kitchen is large and well stocked with pots, pans, dishware, utensils and even common spices and condiments. We were delighted with the dozen fresh eggs Chris collected from his chickens and left for us. When we had family gather for a Sunday breakfast, Chris provided another dozen eggs. We also used the house as a base for exploring Lakes Owasco and Skaneateles, two finger Lakes we had hadn't circled before. It was an easy drive down through Ithaca to explore Cornell and Ithaca Commons and the many good eateries in Ithaca. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly hope Chris's place is available for future visits. And, you should ask Chris about polo ponies and 30 acres of hay!

Absolutely wonderful place. My partner and I stayed here for Valentine's Day and used the time to write and create--It was so peaceful! Every morning I spent watching the many species of birds on the feeder outside the cottage. It's near the lake and some waterfalls, not far from Ithaca but far enough away that it feels serene. Diane's very sweet husband, Glenn, also helped get our car out of the slush on our second to last day there🥶Truly a life saver and overall very friendly! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!
