My colleagues who stayed there felt it was a bit remote. Unfortunately they had to cut short the journey to no fault of Gayan.

Clean and had all the essentials. Situated up in the hills with lots of greenery around. Close ride into Kandy town. Responsive host, and appreciated the flexibility to check in a bit early. There is a lift for luggage (not for people) and the apartment is a walk up of a few flights of stairs which was fine for us, but wouldn’t be suitable for the elderly or those with mobility challenges. Apartment has ensuite bathrooms and AC. Overall good value, recommended. Thank you.

Although the place is a little difficult to reach, the place and the views make up for it. Anuruddha is a great host and the property has private staff with a great chef who cooks amazing food. I’d recommend people to stay for more than a day to get the most out of the place

Had the best stay here. From the second I arrived to I cannot recommend it highly enough. The host and porter met me and carried my things up the trail to the cabin. Sitting in the hot tub with these epic views was spectacular. The outdoor shower, the wood stove, everything was top notch. Praba made me the most delicious dinner and even started a fire for me in the wood stove and set up the hookah. I’ve already recommended this place to many of my friends. The hospitality displayed by Dana and Praba was on another level. This was worth every penny and more. Highly highly recommend

After a bad experience with our first host in Kandy, we decided to move to Bernard’s accommodation, which turned out to be an excellent decision. Bernard even came to our previous accommodation to pick us up, as we had a lot of luggage and were traveling with a small child. The location is superb—you can reach the city center in just a few minutes by tuk-tuk. As the name of the accommodation suggests, the view is truly fantastic. The apartment is comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were delighted by the warm hospitality of Bernard and Suranga. The welcome tea with Bernard was a lovely opportunity to chat and get to know him better. After three weeks of traveling, the breakfast prepared by Suranga was one of the best we’ve ever had—don’t miss out on trying it! Suranga also gave us great recommendations and helped us arrange transportation to Sigiriya. This is truly a place where you can feel safe and at home. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at Bernard’s place.

We are Paola and Silvano from Italy, travelling through Sri Lanka by bicycle. We spent only one night at Sincere Wilderness but it worth much time, because it's a beautiful quiet location in the hill zone of the city, but you can arrive in the center in 5 minutes by tuk tuk. Romeni and her parents, Grace and Lal, are very friendly and they took a perfect care of us. It's a small cottage, with a dining room and the bed on a really beautiful mezzanine part, provided with mosquito net. The bathroom has hot water (not so easy to find). There's also a balcony vith a nice view. We had lunch and dinner there, top quality home made food! If you want, you can have cooking class! The good breakfast is included. Romeni also did the laundry for us, really important, because it's not so easy to wash and dry clothes. Thank you, nice family, it was pleasure meeting you!

We had a wonderful stay, a clean and peaceful place to return to after a day of sightseeing. Lucky was incredibly kind and generous and very kindly offered to drive us to places, thoughtfully including time for us to stop and eat at traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. It was a joy to be there and be so well taken care of.

Edgar Mansion is a beautiful place! Cavan, Charles and Reggie the chef and his staff are very good, responsive and provided us a wonderful holiday. We were a group of 10 friends and we all really enjoyed ourselves and recommend Edgar Mansion highly. The fotos on the listing didn't do justice to the place. It is surrounded by lush greenery, with the Mahaweli river and dam nearby. We relaxed in the outdoor seating area next to the pool. Reggie made tasty BBQ food. The rooms were all luxurious.

We had a pleasant and a peaceful stay at this beautiful property. Extremely clean interior, well equipped kitchen, scenic views from the balcony, very comfy beds and easy access to the property made our stay comfortable. Geethanjali was a great host and attended all our requests without a delay. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kandy !!

A villa up in the hills with amazing views and wildlife for breakfast. We had a private driver so easy to get to Kandy and back. Staff were great and welcoming and tasty food for dinner and breakfast.
