Hotel holiday rentals in Udawalawa

Wir hatten eine Nacht in der Unterkunft gebucht und die Begrüßung war super lieb und freundlich. Wir wurden mit einem leckeren Bananen Smoothie empfangen. Man muss jedoch genau auf seiner Karten App schauen. Es kann passieren das man über Googl-Maps hinter das Haus geleitet wird. Jedoch muss man am besten einfach auf der Hauptstraße bleiben und dann findet man es schnell.

Part of the Grand Udawalawae Safari Resort and very nice place it is surrounded by mature forest. Quiet and away from the main road. Restaurant and bar on site. Swimming pool was nice. Great staff.

Hands down the best place we have stayed in over our month we spent in Sri Lanka. Sadly, we stayed only one night but will gladly recommend this place for longer stays! The place is amazing, with quiet surroundings, immersed in jungle. Room is equipped with everything you need, and sparkling clean. The staff is very kind, attentive, and always helpful. The host himself cared for us very much, and is a true expert in running a hospitality business. Highly recommended!

Fantastic base for the safaris. They will sort you out with a jeep and everything you need. Even pack your breakfast so you can eat it in the car. Would recommend A+++

Alles hat super geklappt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön & sauber. Ashvini organisierte für uns eine Morgensafari, es war toll! Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

We hadden een geweldig verblijf bij Aliweta. Hij regelde last minute een geweldige Safari met een erg goede gids en een heerlijk ontbijt om in het park op te eten. Het verblijf ligt vlak bij de ingang van het park, maar in de buurt kan je ook fantastisch wandelen en zijn nog veel vogels te zien. Ook het uitzicht van de kamer over de suikerrietvelden was mooi. Hij regelde ook vervoer naar Ella voor een zeer goede prijs en kon een autostoel voorzien voor ons zoontje van 1 jaar. We kunnen het verblijf alleen maar aanraden!

Beautiful and peaceful property, Spacious rooms, and a nice pool. Proximity to Udawalawe National Park and Driver Gaya, who was arranged for us was friendly and guided us well during Safari. In house, food can be better from taste point of view, but overall great service by the local staff present at the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay. Chanuka looked after us so well for the two nights we were there, even suggesting a later safari start time so that our two young girls didn’t have to wake up early. Safari was then brilliant. Lassa took extra efforts to ensure we got a chance to see all the animals we wanted to. Not just elephants, but crocodiles and monkeys too. He was also able to tell us the names of all the types of wonderful birds and smaller animals that we were seeing too. The apartment is lovely and very comfy, and the pool is great to come back to after a morning out at safari.
