Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

An amazing time enjoyed by friends from NZ and UK with young families. The house was fitted with everything wr needed, with a very homely feel to it! Some of the highlights: - feeding the pet sheep - picking organic fruit from the fruit trees - enjoying family meals around the dining room table with the beautiful view - playing in the pool - relaxing on the deck watching the beautiful night sky without light pollution Beautiful place to stay and catch up with friends. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Great location easy walking distance to restaurants and shops, also very close to the lake. Bachcare was very quick to respond to any questions. Great communication. The only thing that would have made it slightly better was it was quite hot in the smaller bedroom. The only window was a skylight and there wasn't anyway to open it. The main bedroom was lovely though, air con and big windows.

The home was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of 3’s needs. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would reconsider if we were to visit again. Property managers were responsive, helpful and gracious. One minor issue - we felt that ‘there were too many rules’ - this didn’t take away from our overall strongly positive impression, however. Walkable distance to the town and good options for meals - The Cypress Tree and Osteria Ohakune were excellent.

Just fabulous. Modern, open floor plan. Lots of windows and light. Awesome upstairs kitchen, w adjoining dining sitting area and high ceilings. Hot tub. Modern washer and dryer.

We just love the house..its easy to check in, warm with fireplace and complete with kitchen utensils for us to prepare food. We just love the house.

Great overnight stay! Clean and had everything we needed. The hottub was an added treat and the views were better than pictured!

Such a beautiful home in an amazing location. Every part of the house felt so comfortable, from the warm lounges and (many!) bedrooms to the patio with a mountain view. The well equipped kitchen made us feel right at home. The location is top tier too - there are so many tramping, outdoor, and adventure options within a short drive; and the Ohakune town centre is 5 minutes away. Highly recommend to others.

Very nice house, well-equipped. Comfortable bedding. We enjoyed our stay and especially having breakfast with the family on the terrace overlooking a large wooded garden.

This is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met. We encountered a tricky situation, and the host set off from Auckland at 1 AM to help us. This was my parents’ first trip to New Zealand, and the experience left them with a great impression and deep gratitude. I highly recommend this place—you’ll get an amazing house with convenient access to many attractions.
