Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Trappeto

We were welcomed in the street and helped inside with our luggage which was great since we were travelling with our seven month old. We were there in October so probably somewhat out of season, meaning it was fairly quiet. There's a small café just down the street which is also where you can cross the rail road to the beach. We almost had the beach to ourselves whenever we went. We parked in the street just outside the building. All in all it was a good stay.

I wish I could give 10 ⭐️! Lory was exceptional! She picked us up at the bus stop in Palermo and brought us to the house. She lives in another unit so she was always available for questions and just to say hello. The home was perfect for us and our little dog. Lory gave us recommendations for shopping and restaurants. I wanted to buy special Sicilian pasta to bring home and Lory actually went out and bought it for me. She obviously takes pride in her work and home. We would stay there again when we come to Mondello. I highly recommend this home and location. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Marina’s tiny little hideaway is in the best location. There’s so much to see and do right around every corner, and you truly couldn’t ask for a better location. She also provides fresh fruit and some cold drinks if needed, which were very much appreciated. The place is clean and comfortable with a lot of beautiful old charm, but the amenities are modern. If you are not from the area and thinking of driving into the city, maybe think again. The driving is difficult and the city now has a ZTL zone enforcement, which means you have to go through a process of paying for entrance on each day (except Sundays). It’s not expensive but it’s a bit of a hassle, and more importantly, the driving is stressful. Note: This info is nothing to do with our lovely apartment specifically, but worth mentioning if anyone is planning on doing what we did.

We had the best time here - Maurilio was so accommodating + friendly. He gave us great recommendations. About a 20minute walk to mondello beach, and about 20minutes in a taxi to Palermo centre - really easy to navigate. Villa was gorgeous - outdoor area was amazing with big pool, outdoor kitchen + dining area. Comfy beds, great shower! would recommend the villa to anyone. Thank you so much Maurilio!!

Bendetto and his family showed us real Sicilian hospitality! Amazing host and very helpful . The place is located in walking distance to the beach. The apartment is very spacious and everything needed is provided. We had a great time !

We had a lovely stay at Giuseppe's. The accommodation is very well located a few minutes walk from the train station to Palermo. All amenities are nearby. The accommodation is spacious and equipped with two large bathrooms. The bedding is comfortable. Regarding our host Giuseppe, he gave us lots of good advice and recommendations for our stay. Giuseppe is pleasant and funny. He is fluent in several languages (Arabic, French, English). Ask to taste these great wines. I would recommend this place. 100%

Maicol was an amazing host! He was so responsive i got whiplash haha. Internet was down and I am so use to other host not respond I just dealt with it but 2 days later I decided to send Maicol a message and I wish I had contacted him sooner, he walked me through resetting the router and problem solved in 3 minutes! Thanks Maicol, I highly recommend this place!!

Brilliant place to stay with fantastic, kind host. Lots of garden space and huge pool. Host was so helpful and relaxed helping us out all the time. Lyra the dog was so fun and friendly. Kids loved playing with her. Short drive from loads of beaches, restaurants etc. highly recommend!

Fantastic host. Picked us up and took us to the airport. Available and responded promptly to messages. 5* service given by Salvatore. The view is amazing ! You get plenty of sunshine in the morning. There is a road below the apartment before you get to the pebbly beach which can be loud at times but after a while you forget about it because it is an otherwise peaceful place with a great view and is relaxing. The town is about 30 minute drive away, there are no nearby shops or restaurants to walk to but there is a food delivery service which came in handy. Overall wonderful stay, I would go back !

Antonio’s place is an like an oasis of peace and beauty from busy life! The view is literally to die for!! Antonio and his sister were always helpful giving recommendations and even helping us organise a boat to rent in off season! There is a beautiful beach 5 minutes walking down the hill, and besides that there is hardly anyone or anything - super peaceful and private! We loved watching the sunrise and spending time in the nearby village!

We stayed as a group of 9 during the winter months. The Villa was beautiful, and overlooked the ocean (from a distance). It was peaceful and serene. Paolo kindly offered us access to his orange and lemon trees, which were amazing! He was a helpful host, helping order us pizza our first night when everything seemed closed. The large dining table and kitchen at the back of the house was perfect for family dinners. We used the outdoor BBQ (propane) and the indoor stove/top range - all worked well. We also used the fire pit and Paolo was kind enough to give us some firewood. The house is about ~20 minutes from Palermo by car, which you definitely need in order to stay here. If you don't feel like cooking, try Bragone restaurant (15 mins). Incredible pizza/pasta in the countryside. We stayed during a cold spell, so while there were lots of heat and heaters available, we were chilly at times because we had to balance the electric load just right to keep things running smoothly.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Lucia. Everything was perfect other than we wished we could have stayed longer. The view was spectacular and the Villa itself met all of our needs. The small house in the back was perfect for our daughter and her boyfriend. We also had a blast making pizzas using the pizza oven on site. We look forward to coming back.

Wonderful villa, beautiful indoors and outdoors, nicely furnished, equipped with everything you could need, super clean, spacious and peaceful. Good size swimming pool with comfortable sun loungers to hang out and watch the beautiful mountains. Loved the outdoor kitchen with good size bbq. Great base to explore the northwest and west of Sicily. Castellammare del Golfo has many great restaurants (don’t mis La Tonnara) and is a beautiful town. We also loved our hike in Monte Cofano. Communication with Nicole was excellent, pro-active, friendly and fast responding throughout our stay. Extremely good value for money, we stayed in more expensive places in Sicily that were nowhere near as nice. We would certainly come back

A magnificent house with a breathtaking sea view. Ideal for families looking to spend quality time together in a quiet area. There are plenty of activities to do in the area, but you need a car. The house itself was beyond expectations, has all facilities, and invites to live outdoors. We especially liked the outdoor kitchen, preparing an omelette while enjoying the sea view, I will never forget. Enjoying the evening from the very large Spa and taking an outdoor shower, we were totally unwinded after our week. Sicily is also such a great place. Special thanks to Francesco and his team for the hospitality and accurate communication.

Fantastic venue for our few days away with the Family. The location was perfect and the host extremely helpful and attentive. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great central location but tucked away behind an old wooden door in a quiet courtyard, the accommodation was spacious, spotlessly clean and full of quirky charm. So many roof terraces- we didn’t have time to use them! Our only issue was carting our suitcases up the stairs - travelling light was not our strong point! Fiorella was super-helpful, very accommodating, and easy to contact at any time.

We stayed 2 nights in Flavia's apartment, the first and last of our trip through Sicily, was a very good decision. The apartment is located in the historic center of Palermo and meters from Via Roma, one of the main avenues of the city. The apartment is very nice, adorned with vintage objects and photographs that take you back in time. It has parking inside and Flavia allowed us to leave the car a few more hours after checkout, which was very comfortable. I just comment that you have to climb 2 flights of stairs very steep, which can be challenging for older travelers (as was my case, who traveled with my family). For that same reason, we could not take advantage of the beautiful terrace, which requires climbing another floor by a somewhat precarious staircase. For everything else, it's a great choice :)

Gabriele's place is very nice, very clean, carefully decorated, with lots of utensils. There are many more things than mentioned in the listing, it was a pleasant surprise. We didn't miss a thing. Gabriel is very available and responds very quickly to any questions. We are really delighted with our stay at Gabriele's place.

Beautiful, comfortable modern accomodation

apartment on three levels, with independent entrance, comfortable and equipped. Central neighborhood, but very quiet location of the house, even on the night of December 31 we rested without problems. Contacts with Claudio were easy and punctual, a great experience!

The two of us stayed in the cottage for a week. We knew the very charming area, inviting for hiking and snorkeling, not far from Trapani (and the Egadian Islands), Marsala, Erice, Scopello, Castellamare and San Vito or Lo Zingaro, because we were there before. Margo & Johann's cottage leaves nothing to be desired! It's undoubtedly one of the nicest places we've booked on AirBnB so far. Very appealing outside and inside, the furnishings and outdoor facilities are very high quality, very nice materials have been installed. Lots of details to discover. We were here at the end of November, so we made little use of the well-kept outdoor area - despite still mild weather. How beautiful it has to be at higher temperatures! Communication was extraordinarily good and proactive. We got numerous good tips and our questions were answered in record time. A joy and always back!

We had a great stay in San Vito for a week. Eleonora provided helpful instructions before we arrived and was responsive when we had questions during our stay. The apartment is as described and very comfortable for two people. We especially liked the kitchen and proper double bed (not always common in Europe). The area is very peaceful and convenient to get to the restaurants in the town.
