Family-friendly holiday rentals in Trappeto

Alessandro was a great host. He met us on arrival and provided some very useful local information and helped out with questions during our stay. The property was very clean and comfortable. The development was great and the pool even better. Never stayed somewhere with such a large pool! As many of the properties appeared to be private holiday homes, it was very quiet but no worse for that. Being a bit out of town, a car is essential but there are plenty of options for beach and shopping within 15 minutes. A great place to unwind and relax.

We had a great time. Andrea and his wife are very charming and very welcoming. Always attentive. The accommodation and its surroundings are very nice, comfortable and fresh. We did not test the pool as we prefer the sea which is walkable in 2 minutes! I recommend this very quiet little corner!!!

Francesco and his wife are just great people so kind and warm we loved everything about them and their place book with them for the very best place in Mondello beach

We had a wonderful time at Villa Lucia. Everything was perfect other than we wished we could have stayed longer. The view was spectacular and the Villa itself met all of our needs. The small house in the back was perfect for our daughter and her boyfriend. We also had a blast making pizzas using the pizza oven on site. We look forward to coming back.

I recommend it… everything is perfect. A house where everything has been thought out in every detail for the well-being of the hosts . The air conditioning comfort for beds , spacious bedrooms and their bathrooms ... a very spacious kitchen... and everything is in impeccable condition... a terrace with a view of 390 degrees a quiet environment. An awesome heated pool. In short, don't hesitate. David is very responsive if you write to him. Thank you so much for your welcome.

Angelo's apartment was a perfect base for our family of 5 adults to visit Palermo. The apartment is beautiful and spacious and is in a perfect location for visiting most of the places a new visitor to Palermo would want to see. He was very responsive to any issues that came up and also gave us great restaurant recommendations.

Caterina was the perfect host! Even before our trip, Caterina sent a wealth of information on things to see and do, and on restaurants to try. She was very welcoming and she was immediately available for any questions we had during the stay. My family arrived before I did and they were greeted with lovely local baked goods, wine and Prosecco and special treats for my grandsons. The house is located in a great part of Sicily with close access to Trapani for restaurants and to the amazing hillside town of Erice (a great place from which to watch the sunset). The salt flats are also close by and we found a really cool abandoned Tuna fishery building that was in operation from the 16th century until the 1960's. The nearby beach and the coastline with tidal pools and rocks was the perfect playground for my grandsons. I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had and how Caterina went above and beyond to insure we had the perfect stay!

The setting "on top of" Scopello was amazing. We were here in February but could already enjoy the sun around and in Alfonsos house. Thank you!

Comfortable apartment and exquisite hospitality! The house has complete amenities, including the first-aid kit in the bathroom. We loved the fruits and treats found on arrival and the almond pastries when we left. Above all, Antonella has always been responsive for small problems that we have resolved without any particular inconvenience. Only negative note: the apartment is on the second floor without an elevator and the particularly steep stairs have made it tiring to bring luggage. In general, we are very satisfied and recommend the structure to those who want to visit Palermo and its surroundings by walking.

Lucia's apartment perfectly reflects the photos and description. It has a very special style, elegant and modern but above all very spacious and very clean !!!! It was like feeling at home with all the comforts that Lucia offers. The location of the apartment is strategic, it is located in the heart of Trapani, among the quiet alleys but a 3-minute walk from the main street and the port. Lucia is an exceptional host, helpful and timely in responding and providing information. We are very satisfied with our experience !!!

Great central location but tucked away behind an old wooden door in a quiet courtyard, the accommodation was spacious, spotlessly clean and full of quirky charm. So many roof terraces- we didn’t have time to use them! Our only issue was carting our suitcases up the stairs - travelling light was not our strong point! Fiorella was super-helpful, very accommodating, and easy to contact at any time.

Nice apartment, situated in a scenic building, that gives palace vibes. Angelo was a very kind and helpful co-host, he helped us with what we needed, guided us with tips & tricks in the city and helped with luggage storage after check out. The apartment is fairly equipped, small but smartly compartimented. The bed was confortable for two tall people and there was an extra bed, if needed. The location was very close to the center and main attractions, but the street and some areas around felt unsafe. Overall good experience!

We stayed 2 nights in Flavia's apartment, the first and last of our trip through Sicily, was a very good decision. The apartment is located in the historic center of Palermo and meters from Via Roma, one of the main avenues of the city. The apartment is very nice, adorned with vintage objects and photographs that take you back in time. It has parking inside and Flavia allowed us to leave the car a few more hours after checkout, which was very comfortable. I just comment that you have to climb 2 flights of stairs very steep, which can be challenging for older travelers (as was my case, who traveled with my family). For that same reason, we could not take advantage of the beautiful terrace, which requires climbing another floor by a somewhat precarious staircase. For everything else, it's a great choice :)

This was truly one the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had, and we’ve had some great ones. Cynthia was able to be both extremely kind and helpful while also being totally unobtrusive. Her home is even better than the photos and she has actually thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. We loved it and hope to return!

Beautiful, comfortable modern accomodation

Vincenzo's place has a good location just out of the centre of Palermo. It is clean, well furnished and has everything you will need for an extended stay. I was there for a month and found that I had everything that I needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the internet is fast and reliable. Although the apartment is small, the space is very well utilized. A great option for a comfortable stay in Palermo.

Villa was clean and tidy, and matched the description on the AirBNB website. It had all the facilities we needed for our stay. It had a modern contemporary feel, yet was comfortable and homely. There is a great view of the coast line from the first floor balcony. Our host, Tommaso was friendly and responsive. He was kind enough to bring us pastries on our first morning, biscuits when we checked out, and a lovely ice cream cake when he needed to visit during our stay. The Villa is located in a rural setting and a car is a must. It is situated about 20ish miles/30 minutes east of Palermo Airport. There is a fantastic beach about 5 minutes walk. The nearest town is about 6 miles away and has a good variety of restaurants and shops.

We spent a beautiful time in this family home and wished we had booked longer. It is a place that naturally makes you feel calm, grounded and at home. Even during nights with heavy thunder and rain, the sunlight woke us up gently through the windows in the morning, accompanied by the sounds of birds and far cowbells. We hope to come back sometime!

Giacoma & Carlo were both helpful and communicative. We were welcomed in person and were pleased with the basketful of essentials that had been left for us. We were all sad to have to leave after an all-too-short week at their lovely villa!

Rosanna’s house and location was incredible. The photos actually do not do the house and setting justice. The outdoors spaces and pool are gorgeous and just what we had hoped for, for a relaxing vacation with children and extended family. The pool was amazing, the gardens beautiful and the a/c ran cold in the downstairs living area and upstairs hallway. The location is amazing- walking distance to a beautiful beach and a short drive from both Castellammare del golfo and Scopello. The only issues we had were with the heat at night in the upstairs bedrooms (the downstairs one had a ceiling fan which made the room really comfortable). I mentioned this to Rosanna and she was very open to feedback. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive to everything. There was a blackout when we were there at 3 am and we had to call them to help open the gate so that my brother could catch his early morning flight out of Palermo. Fulvio was at the house within 20 minutes to help us at 3:30 am!

Super kind and nice people. We arrived with public transportation, and they were so kind to pick us up at the train station, and leave us there again on the day of departure. The pool area was super. We only shared it with one other apartment, so plenty of room for all. We are a family of 5, kids aged 7, 11 and 13, and with a nice fishing village, lots of restaurants and beaches within 30 minutes walk, it was an ideal stay for us.

Our stay at Lilli's house was just perfect....Lilli organized everything well...Directions... reception by Giovanni ....small provisions....communication also great with her....responds immediately....the house is a small gem and the garden with the many exotic trees, the view of the mountains, the great pool, the tranquility, just wonderful. Giovanni is the good soul of the estate and always has a tip in stock...the surroundings are great, especially we liked the ornate Parrini. Thanks Lilli for the super hospitality! We had a wonderful time, and loved your pool. Hope to come back sometime....

This is a gem of a place located just in between Santa Flavia and Bagheria, just 20km from Palermo. It is an ideal place to stay on a quiet and large nature-filled property. Everything matches the description and my wife and I had a great and relaxing time. During the day we would drive around and sights in the area or take the train which is 20 mins away from downtown Palermo. But at night we could retreat to peace and quiet and be surrounded by nature -- cactuses, trees, etc. Marida, the host, was incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful -- she greeted us during check-in and spoke to us at length about many things to do in the area and was incredibly warm and wonderful. She was so kind, I felt like I had family nearby (she and her husband also live in a separate house on the property). The dog, BonBon who is a St. Bernard was always there too to greet us with enthusiastic love, and the 2 cats also were always vigilant and kept watc. We loved our this place and want to come back!

Great stay! The villa was clean, cozy and well equipped. The location, view and pool were simply stunning. Eliana was nice and easy to check in. Would love to go back!
