Our stay at Chantal’s home in Normandy was absolutely splendid. The location was magical—just minutes from town, with a breathtaking view of a castle style home right next door. The apartment had all the modern comforts we needed for a cozy stay for two. Chantal and her team went above and beyond, especially with the delightful breakfast that made us feel like royalty—it was the perfect way to start the day. We only had the chance to stay one night, and we truly wish it had been longer. If you’re dreaming of peaceful evenings under the stars and soaking in the atmosphere of this enchanting place, do yourself a favor and stay a bit longer. You won’t regret it!

This was a cute house that was the perfect location to tour the D Day beaches and Bayeux, and get a feel for the town of Arromanches-les-Bains. The town had a lovely beach and nice shops and was very walkable, the house and beds were comfortable, and communication with the host was everything we needed- he confirmed where we could park and gave us info about grocery shopping locations. The church bells did ring in the morning, but it wasn’t too disruptive as the window shades really dampened the sound. Well worth it for the location. We would definitely recommend this house to others.
