Family-friendly holiday rentals in Trabia

Marco was an amazing host and extremely helpful. We checked in pretty late but his mother was there to greet us and show us around the place. He was the fastest replying host I’ve ever had and was extremely helpful with any questions I had. The place itself was perfect and exceeded my expectations. Location is absolutely beautiful and just a short drive from the city.

My daughter and son in law stayed with Giuseppina. The apartment was fabulous for all our needs. Situated in the town centre. Great location. Clean and tidy and a lovely host.

Francesco and his wife are just great people so kind and warm we loved everything about them and their place book with them for the very best place in Mondello beach

We (6 people) spent a week at Francesco's place the old farmhouse. A wonderful place to relax, away from stress and everyday life. Everything is there, from dishes, washing-up liquid and tea towels to a washing machine, table tennis, table football, pizza oven and a great, very well-maintained pool. In the surrounding towns you can find everything else you need, for example delicious cakes, regional cheese and very fresh fish. Francesco speaks English and is happy to give information about excursions, the history of the farm, olive cultivation and much more. We felt very comfortable there.

This home was a true gem! It was tucked away on a hillside with outstanding views! The outdoor space was unique - we wish we had better weather to enjoy it more! However, there is a covered porch with very comfortable furniture to use even on rainy days. We had 6 adults in the house for the week of Christmas and there was enough room for everyone to have private bedrooms and bathrooms. Even with many restaurants closed for December, there was a cafe and bar open every day 100 meters away and a local grocery store. Marco was able to recommend a wonderful chef that came to the house multiple times and prepared amazing food with only local ingredients. Cefalu city center is only 12 minutes away by car and has every other amenity you might need. Marco's home is a quiet, peaceful getaway. We hope to return!

Our family of four (including a 2.5 year old and an infant) was very fortunate to stay at Dario’s over Christmas and New Year’s. The location was excellent - in the heart of Cefalu, just a few blocks from the Duomo, the beach, and the bottom of La Rocco. It was fun to watch the holiday festivities just below our balcony. The “spa” exceeded expectations and the kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped. Dario was friendly, attentive, and had great restaurant recommendations. We would love to return one day.

This was one of the most amazing places we have stayed in... it was so well done and modern but kept some the historical character - we loved learning about the building and the family. The outdoor space was amazing and we were happy for warm and sunny days in Nov - a little chilly for the pool though. The beds and all furniture were so comfortable. Angelo was so helpful and it was wonderful to have a few snacks and breakfast items in the kitchen. The location was perfect - everything was walkable but not too loud. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

this was one of the best stays we had recently... Antonella is very kind, when we checked in there were fruits, milk, juice, bread, jam etc already there for the breakfast... she also baked some cupcakes for us 😊, they were delicious... the apartment is very spacious and you immediately feel at home... everything is very walkable from the apartment... bustop, market, restaurants and places to see... I would highly recommend this apartment when you visit Palermo...

Great central location but tucked away behind an old wooden door in a quiet courtyard, the accommodation was spacious, spotlessly clean and full of quirky charm. So many roof terraces- we didn’t have time to use them! Our only issue was carting our suitcases up the stairs - travelling light was not our strong point! Fiorella was super-helpful, very accommodating, and easy to contact at any time.

Amazing place! Of all our previous stays and visits to 4 to 800 year old architecture, the entrance into an enclosed baroque courtyard with vaulted ceilings and super-wide limestone steps was as good a picture as anywhere! The co-host Angelo was very helpful, meeting us to check in, showing us the intricacies of the apartment. He set up a vet appointment for our doggie, and walked me through (within 5 minutes) resetting a breaker. We actually liked it there so much, literally minutes from the central train station, and liked Palermo, that we tried to extend our stay by a week but other guests had already reserved. Definitely one of the top places we have stayed, and a very strong positive recommendation.

We stayed 2 nights in Flavia's apartment, the first and last of our trip through Sicily, was a very good decision. The apartment is located in the historic center of Palermo and meters from Via Roma, one of the main avenues of the city. The apartment is very nice, adorned with vintage objects and photographs that take you back in time. It has parking inside and Flavia allowed us to leave the car a few more hours after checkout, which was very comfortable. I just comment that you have to climb 2 flights of stairs very steep, which can be challenging for older travelers (as was my case, who traveled with my family). For that same reason, we could not take advantage of the beautiful terrace, which requires climbing another floor by a somewhat precarious staircase. For everything else, it's a great choice :)

Beautiful, comfortable modern accomodation

The apartment, although small, is equipped with everything you need, it was clean and comfortable. The center was easily accessible on foot. The stay was pleasant!

The location was in the city center, the only downside was finding parking but that is not unique to this Airbnb! The rooms were spacious!

Ferdinando gave us all of the information we needed to self check-in, and arranged for a taxi to take us to the door; it might have been a bit tricky if the taxi driver did not know where he was going! The apartment was very close indeed to the centre of Palermo, but was in a small square that was very quiet for most of the day. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and Ferdinando himself was delightful when we met him on check-out. He responded to all my emails very quickly, and provided links to documents he had prepared with his recommendations for places to eat and places to visit.

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation right next to Lorenzo and his wife. The accommodation is small and nice and the outdoor area with pool is very nicely laid out. The view is beautiful, whether it is illuminated in the morning for coffee or in the evening. The cottage is very quiet and there is a relaxed atmosphere. Within walking distance it is about 20 minutes to the center of Cefalu. It is about a 10-minute walk to the nearest stone beach.

Thank you for the beautiful accommodation. The place is beautifully located with a great view of the sea and the mountains! The pool was a welcome cooling off in the temperatures! Flavia has wonderful tips for things to do and restaurants.

We had an exceptional stay at Claudio's! As soon as we arrived, the welcome was warm and attentive. The apartment was perfectly clean, well-equipped and as described, with everything you needed to feel at home. Claudio was very responsive to our messages and made sure everything went smoothly during our stay. The location is ideal, which made our tour even more enjoyable. Our stay at Lilli's house was just perfect....Lilli organized everything well...Directions... reception by Giovanni ....small provisions....communication also great with her....responds immediately....the house is a small gem and the garden with the many exotic trees, the view of the mountains, the great pool, the tranquility, just wonderful. Giovanni is the good soul of the estate and always has a tip in stock...the surroundings are great, especially we liked the ornate Parrini. Thanks Lilli for the super hospitality! We had a wonderful time, and loved your pool. Hope to come back sometime....

This is a gem of a place located just in between Santa Flavia and Bagheria, just 20km from Palermo. It is an ideal place to stay on a quiet and large nature-filled property. Everything matches the description and my wife and I had a great and relaxing time. During the day we would drive around and sights in the area or take the train which is 20 mins away from downtown Palermo. But at night we could retreat to peace and quiet and be surrounded by nature -- cactuses, trees, etc. Marida, the host, was incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful -- she greeted us during check-in and spoke to us at length about many things to do in the area and was incredibly warm and wonderful. She was so kind, I felt like I had family nearby (she and her husband also live in a separate house on the property). The dog, BonBon who is a St. Bernard was always there too to greet us with enthusiastic love, and the 2 cats also were always vigilant and kept watc. We loved our this place and want to come back!

Fantastic week for two families at the villa. We had a brilliant time in the sunshine. We made it to a few.of the recommendations, too.

Wonderful, dreamy location! It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this location and I would absolutely recommend it. Mette-Mari welcomed us warmly, is very responsive and developed as well as decorated this place with her whole heart.

Spacious vila with great outdoor space and good privacy. We stayed with our family with young kids and besides the pool there was plenty of entertainment for them. We loved the involvement of host Rosario. Very involved during our visit and made sure we had everything we needed.
