Holiday houses in Tours

Véronique was a lovely host, both before and during our stay. It has never been invasive, but was very kind and helpful when we needed it or to let us know if it was possible to stay longer than expected at the pool. The space is quiet sinceit is surrounded by greenery. Also, the indoor and heated pool was a real plus, allowing us to relax every day, before or after our excursions. This week in Chemillé-sur-Dême has rested us all a lot, so I highly recommend this place.

We had a great week with two families in this spacious and very well-equipped cottage. A very pleasant exterior, as well as the spa facility. Sylvie and her husband were very welcoming and gave good advice. The place is well located for visiting. In short, everything was perfect.

So many words come to my mind as I write this review, but I think the two that describe it so well are idyllic and peaceful. We were so incredibly thrilled to book Martine’s home for our stay and only wish that we could have stayed longer. The bedrooms were large and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. We woke up to the sound of birds chirping, and the peacefulness of village life. Yet, even though it was a small village, they had so many amenities (Boulanger, Charcuterie, restaurants, markets, Patisserie) that were within walking distance from the home. After the hustle and bustle of Paris and Bordeaux, it was absolute heaven to be able to stay at their home in Rochecorbon. If I could, I would definitely give it more than five stars.

Julien's place is perfect, new and tastefully renovated. The decor, the living room with that huge barn space, everything makes you feel at home, plus everything is very clean. The land is very large, and there is a nice BBQ space and a beautiful table to be outside. We will definitely come back because it is also a strategic point to visit the castles of the Loire.

This was the highlight of your trip to France! The view is spectacular! Pascale was so kind and helpful- she met us for check in and offered many helpful suggestions. The suite is well appointed and decorated. There is laundry available and bikes! Tips to consider: we took the train from Paris to st Pierre des corps and rented a car from there- 25 min to Pascale’s- very easy driving- this way you avoid the big city traffic of Tours of Paris- the car rental is 40 feet from the train station so made it very easy. You can hear the river from the windows and wake up to gentle song birds in the morning! The town centre is just 2 blocks away at the base of the chateau and is just like out of a story book! Great wineries to sample and other amazing chateaus to visit- we weee there 4 days and it was the right amount of time. Can’t recommend this enough!

Very nice welcome and accommodation as described. Only 20 minutes from Beauval Zoo, ideal for two three nights.

A perfect stop during our stay in the area. The accommodation offered by Laurent and his partner was beyond our expectations . Thank you for your attention and forgetting.😁 We would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful week at Daphne‘s beautiful gite in Amboise. We have never stayed at a gite that is so well stocked with equipment, lovely furnishings and stunning surroundings. It was the perfect size for our family of four adults and two teenage boys. It’s perfectly located to be peaceful and relaxing, but only a short drive, or cycle ride, to the local shops and market in Amboise. We loved everything about it and hope to return again in the not too distant future. Thank you Daphné for making us so welcome and your recommendations of local places to eat and things to do. 🥰
