Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Toro Canyon

The space was very comfortable and extremely quiet. The location was very convenient for my needs. The value was excellent!

We had a great time and Maxcy’s lovely beach house was perfect for our stay in Ventura! The home was very well-appointed and there were so many thoughtful extras to make our stay comfortable (extra towels and blankets, etc.). The neighborhood is very quiet. We had a wonderful visit over Christmas - the home was nicely decorated for the holiday. There was a major windstorm while we were there, and owner was kind enough to check in to make sure all was well. Everything was very clean and as-described, nice bedding and linens. Thank you!

Was in town for work and Meredith’s place seemed like the right fit and it definitely was. Cozy and spacious. Steps away from the beach too which was a plus!

The openness of the living area, the different outdoor areas to gather together or just relax alone quietly, and the dedicated office area made our stay the perfect place to reconnect and visit with family we hadn't seen in awhile. The house was very clean, the beds were really comfortable, the kitchen has a great coffee maker and the ocean view from the dining room was beautiful. We especially loved the surfboard table in that area. We can highly recommend a stay here!

We had a great time staying here. The hot tub was a huge benefit and we liked having two individual units. Everything was very clean and Kristy was super responsive and helpful

My fiancé & I had a great time staying at Kerri’s home! The space was clean & close to everything we wanted to do. Kerri was also very quick to respond when we had a question.

James’ place is in a great area. It’s super walkable to the pier, restaurants, and beaches. We thought there was abundant parking and we were usually able to park right in front. They offer a parking pass, which helps as well. I’ve stayed places in Santa Barbara, where there is no parking at all so this was a huge benefit in our minds. The bathroom is upgraded with new tile and is super clean. Overall, the place was very clean and comfortable. We will stay there again. if you fly in like we did, and intend to stay close to town and the beach, then you don’t even need a car. There are multiple things to do within an easy walking distance or short Uber ride. We take long walks when we’re at home and it was nice to be in a place that you could walk a few miles every morning right from your doorstep.

We overall had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Maureen’s place. There place has so many wonderful small touches including a very sunny bathroom, a lemon tree, 5 minutes to downtown, 7 minutes to nature preserves, and overall a well stocked home. Maureen was clear and prompt in communication throughout our stay, and truly a kind compassionate individual.

Sandy was a great host with a very nice space. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, living space had lots of light.

We were quite happy about our stay at Azul's property. The 2b apartment is clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is quite and safe. Azul responded to the question very quickly and provided very informative guidance on everything. 5 star

5++ stars!! This place was absolutely amazing and our family (2A, 2K- 10, 7) enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again next time we’re visiting relatives. All amenities were thoughtfully included to make our stay comfortable, right down to the beach tar wipes (which we needed!) and the delightful Wes Anderson coffee table book that we enjoyed reading. Location - Moments to the freeway, and the rest is all walkable- three blocks to the beach, short walk to the pier and On The Alley for a delicious bite and eight minutes to State and the Funk Zone. Grocery store and a pub are conveniently around the corner. House - As others have mentioned, the sound does carry from the other units, but wasn’t a huge issue for us. We found the beds to be a bit soft and a clothes drying rack would be useful, but otherwise no complaints. Property is spotlessly clean, includes a good quality beach set, extra towels/linens, full sized laundry, parking and lovely outdoor patio/bbq area.

Jane’s place was very comfortable for our 10-day stay. The light was lovely, the kitchen easily accommodated two people cooking together, and each room was larger than I expected, vs. many airbnb rentals that are smaller than you expect based on the photos. It is an easy walk to a great produce market that has everything you need, Stearns Wharf, a delightful zoo, a bird refuge and of course East Beach. I took advantage of beach yoga there. Reunion kitchen at the CaBrillo Pavillion was very convenient and the food was quite good. Great latte!

Loved location. We did buy a few foil 9 x 13 pans to cook in. Plus I bought some of my own favorite kitchen tools. I did buy a smaller cutting board. But the kitchen had several items.

Rob is definitely a super host, and the location is so enjoyable, with walking distance to the sand, and town! My fiance and I will definitely look forward to another stay, and recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm relaxing get away.

We loved our stay and would absolutely stay again. The location was amazing, probably the best part of this home and that’s saying a lot. We went on a beautiful walk every day- once to the Mesa lane steps, once to the Douglas family preserve, and then around the block to a park and a longer walk to shoreline park. The restaurants and market that are right near by were so perfect. And downtown is a super short drive. We loved the hot tub, had plenty of space to have mobile massages, and really can’t over-state the location and proximity to great spots. Cozy bed, showers were nothing special, water pressure and showerhead in master wasn’t great but got the job done. The sink in the master is backward (hot on right, cold on left) just fyi :) We had an amazing stay here! Highly recommend.

Our recent stay at this Airbnb on the third floor was nothing short of exceptional. Over the course of more than a week, we were continually impressed by the serene ambiance and views of Port Hueneme Beach and the Pacific Ocean. The unit itself was well-furnished, and equipped with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was stocked with modern appliances, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy them on the balcony while soaking in the panoramic views. Waking up to the sound of the humming birds was a highlight of our mornings. The location was perfect for those looking to explore the local area. Being so close to the beach, we spent hours walking along the sandy shores, enjoying the sunsets, and indulging in beach activities. We stayed there on our way back from LA to San Fran. It was an absolute surprise. Shamim is truly a super host. And the place was a gem. It was neat and clean, and everything was provided. Instructions were very clear and had a keyless entry. Dedicated parking was a great convenience. The absolute best part was the private access to the Beach. And the beach was gorgeous and expansive—a large flat swath of fine sand land all to yourself. It reminded me of the Copa Cabana beach section in front of our five-star hotel in the early morning when there was hardly anybody. The waves were gorgeous, and one young girl attempting to ride them in the distance. Shamim also recommended great restaurants in the neighborhood, which turned out to be great. Pacific Grill was great, and American Pizza, a few miles away, made our kid's day. Reasonably priced.
