Beachfront holiday rental in Tjörn

We stayed at this beautiful house for 6 days and even though we had some rough weather some days, the atmosphere of the place is so special that also a rainy day is beautiful. We used to cook a lot and the supermarket on the other side of the harbour had everyhting we needed. This place is for all looking for something really special and we are happy we found this gem. Communication and introductions were spot on as well and the hosts were super friendly.

Family of 4 had a lovely holiday in the house. There was everything we needed, including puzzles for the rainy days. Beautiful area and house was perfect for our needs.

We had a long weekend at Karin’s beautiful apartment right next to see. The perfect place for a cozy autumn getaway. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and baking and the whole place is very tastefully decorated. We could not think of a nicer way to spend the weekend than on the beautiful car free island of Styrsö.

Great cozy cottage with quaint flair and great water views. The kitchen is small but there is everything you need - even a dishwasher. Comfortable beds and beautiful terrace. Fenced property is convenient for the dogs. The sauna was a highlight. Even a charging station for electric cars is available. Super nice hosts. We highly recommend the place.

We had a fantastic stay with the host Niclas in Hälleviksstrand between July 27 and August 3. The home exceeded our expectations in every way. The newly built sea house was a perfect combination of modern standards and quaint charm, with its own dock that really put the finishing touches. The house was spacious and well planned with all the amenities we needed. The living room with kitchen was fully equipped, and it was a delight to cook while looking out at the ocean. The balcony and patio by the dock were wonderful places to spend the evenings. The bedrooms were comfortable and offered plenty of room for everyone. The surroundings were just as impressive, with beautiful nature and the proximity to Hotel Strana that provided extra convenience. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this home for anyone looking to experience a peaceful and scenic seaside holiday. Thank you, Niclas, for making our stay so memorable!

Absolutely great place to rent! We were 2 families with children and we had a great time here! The pool was right for the little ones. Anders was accommodating and responded quickly if anything during the stay. Would love to come back here!

Wow! Beautiful house with a beautiful 🤩 modern and spacious view with impeccable cleanliness, very well equipped , Stefano very good host and very attentive ( thank you for the bottle of 🥂 Prosecco on the very nice personal touched arrival) always available, good location (20 minutes from Gothenburg airport and downtown Gothenburg) everything was perfect 👍 you can go with your eyes closed 👍😉

We spent a relaxing week as a family of five in Maria’s home situated in a place of outstanding natural beauty. Her beautiful home is equipped with all possible amenities and very comfortable, with breathtaking views over the sea and neighbouring islands. Knippla is a very beautiful small island, our favourite swimming place on the rocks with jetty and tower is about 10 minutes by foot. Knippla is also a great base to excursions into the Göteborg archipelago. For instance, we enjoyed very much taking the (cost free) ferry a couple of times to visit neighbouring Hyppeln with its nice sandy beach - and Rörö with its beautiful natural reserve and great locally made ice cream. Maria has been a very thoughtful and active host.

We were very well and personally received by Albin and given clear explanations about all the equipment, and there are many in this house. We've thankfully taken advantage of it. The jacuzzi and outdoor shower are fantastic, after a swim around from the jetty in the morning with a view of the water and the beautiful skies, this is enjoyable. The garden offers plenty of privacy and is a blissful place to stay. Everything in the house is very well taken care of. Bed and bedroom excellent. In the “Cinema TV room”, we watched Dutch TV on a large screen through our iPad, with excellent sound. The map with information is nice, and Albin and the neighbors have given us tips. There is so much to see. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed the house and the beautiful Swedish west coast this week.

We really enjoyed staying at this wonderful home. We were particularly pleased with the warm welcome with personal tips from Martin and his family. Askim is fantastic as a base for various excursions incl. Archives and Gothenburg. Check in, house rules and check-out were perfectly communicated. Thanks so much for the great last days we were able to spend here.

We had a great week at Jens and Mirja‘s place. It‘s beautifully decorated, cosy, private and very calm. A few restaurants, a supermarket and some swimming spots are walking distance and you can just relax and lounge around to your heart‘s content. The kitchen is well equipped and we really enjoyed the hammocks. It is a bit spenny for a week but if you‘re looking for a beautiful space that feels like home , this is the place for you 🧡

We had an amazing weekend at Dyrön. The house is very nicely renovated and well equipped with everything you need. Close to the sea, the public sauna (to be booked in advance) and the Ica shop. Located beautifully and the walking paths around the island are great!

We stayed with 4 adults for 9 nights. The view is out of this world. The house is almost on the water and is very private. We used the hot tub and sauna every day, which was also the reason to book this property. Two adults slept in the guesthouse with its own bathroom. It was a double bed, but it was working fine. A great terrace with sofa and chairs. Very cozy living room and a fireplace that we have often used. The kitchen is no longer the newest, but well equipped! Large fridge and deep freezer. Bram was always available within one hour. He was also on site quickly when we had a problem. The supermarket is a 10-minute drive away. Conclusion: Great cozy house with stunning views, with sauna and hot tub!

Karl is a great host and the house was just as I hoped for! I will be back for sure.
