I really loved this homestay. Very nice and cosy place, bit away from the city but close to reach any stores and restaurants. You can start hiking straight from the house. Calm neighborhood. Especially appreciated warm welcome from the host, all her help and hospitality.

Best place to stay in Ha Giang! We finished the loop and decided to stay in town for the night after 4 long days of touring and this place was perfect. The reception ladies were super friendly and incredibly helpful, we could book a bus to Hanoi that picked us up from the hotel, and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic! We will definitely send our friends and family your way come back to stay when we return to Ha Giang. It isn’t in the centre of town but they do provide bicycle and motorbike rentals and offer tours of the loop themselves anywhere from 1-5 days. The ammenities are beautiful, the soaps they use are natural and made by locals using natural ingredients and smell outstanding, plenty of towels and spare toothbrush/paste packets. They offer currency exchange here and are always available for assistance. Can’t say enough how wonderful this place is, thank you very much!!

Thavill Retreat was more than we could have imagined. My husband and I visited on our honeymoon and could not have enjoyed our stay more. The space was beautifully designed, the home cooked meals were amazing, and Minh helped organize day trips and experiences. The staff were amazing and we loved our stay. The experience was once in a lifetime and we hope to visit again in the future.

Staying at Cinnamon EcoLodge was the best experience in Vietnam so far. Staying in the middle of nature, surrounded by Cinnamon trees, rice fields, a mountain village, and animals was so peaceful. I also really enjoyed the home cooked dinners with Gioi and his whole family, they were so welcoming and made me feel at home. A few other highlights were the local market, the walk/hike through the village, and learning how to harvest cinnamon. It‘s very close to Sapa, but away from all the tourists. Big thanks to Gioi and his whole family. They also helped with organizing transportation. I can totally recommend staying there if you’re looking for tranquility and a local Vietnamese experience in nature.
