Margret's home was clean, cosy and the location was great! So peaceful! And the view of the mountains behind was amazing. You can get your groceries from Kronan Hvolsvelli (20mins drive). Highly recommend!

Amazing time for any animal lover with friendly cats, dogs, horses, sheep. Owners spent a lot of time with us introducing us to their amazing herd of Icelandic horse, while hearing about the geology, wildlife biology and folklore of the area. Three glaciers are visible from the farm!! I could not recommend more!

The host is very, very friendly. I had a little trouble locking the door, but the host personally came and fixed it for me. The house is clean, the surroundings are peaceful and very nice. I recommend it!

The apartment is absolutely sufficient for 2 people and corresponds 100% to the description. It really has everything you need for daily life. An ideal location to see the northern lights without light pollution. Important: as you can see in the photos, it is in the middle of nowhere, so an SUV is recommended. And the nearest supermarket is a 20 minute drive away, as I said you are in the middle of nowhere. However, you can reach many interesting destinations on the south coast and the Golden Circle very easily (max. 1.5 hours by car). So we can recommend the apartment 100%.
