The place is BEAUTIFUL. A full glass house with the surrounding forest will give you a BALI like feel. Sharath was very helpful as a caretaker. Only problem is the food in this area. There are not many eateries nearby and the ones that are there close very early and also taste is not at all up to the mark. But you get a beautiful kitchen with all the utensils so you can cook if you want to. You can just sit in the balcony and let your day pass.

Beautiful stay, felt like home. Very well maintained and great surroundings. Caretaker Shijo was very welcoming, with a smile on his face provided us incredibly delicious food.

Our stay was incredible, the house and property are truly beautiful and better than described. The house is spacious and comfortable. I will say that my husband and I traveled around India for 3+ weeks and Deepu's home was the only one with consistent, amazing hot water in the showers. Everything is sustainable, grown from the earth, and thoughtfully crafted. Deepu, Sanita, and Shijo were amazing hosts who were very responsive, kind, caring, and invested in us enjoying our time there. They went above and beyond to ensure this. I recently stayed at an Airbnb in Vagamon, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The place itself was stunning—surrounded by lush greenery, breathtaking views, and a peaceful atmosphere that made for a perfect getaway. The property was well-maintained, clean, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. A special shoutout to our host, Bibin—he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available to help with anything we needed. His hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable. He gave great recommendations on local spots to visit, making our trip even more memorable. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat in Vagamon with a great host, this is the perfect place. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Thomas was a very hospitable host that managed to solve our every need. He stays right beside so it was easy for him to come down in case of any problems we faced. Would recommend others to stay for sure.

The property is situated in the middle of a lot of foliage, and it was really cozy for us. Everything was squeeky clean and maintained well, and the caretaker Mr. Shaji took good care of us, delivered food and groceries on time, and he was really friendly. Mornings in The Placid Rill are the most beautiful. We could watch the sunlight falling on the mountains and trees nearby, right from the bed. It was a 5 star property and a 5 star experience, and it is very ideal for couples and small families. One small issue I would say was that the wifi in our room was a little weak. I had some work documents to upload, and it took a lot longer than expected. But I don’t mind that. Would 100% recommend to a friend.

We took a private pool cottage with two bedrooms for our family of 5 including two kids. The cottage was neat, private and the pool was the right size for the kids. The pool was also maintained well. The food was homely and tasty and was reasonable price. There was a small water fall and a stream inside the property. They are still developing the property and it would have been nice to have. a small hike in the property with pathways through the cardamom plantations. They gave coupons for us to the nearby vagamon heights adventure park which was also great and did some activities there Vipin , the caretaker was always available on phone. He was very pleasant and always ready to help with all our needs. A great place for a family vacation
