Holiday rentals with beach access in The Hill

We had the most amazing weekend at Donna’s place, Turtles. The apartment was clean, well- equipped, spacious, light and bright. The location was perfect for beach access and lovely panoramic views. Donna was polite and friendly in all interactions, responding quickly and providing detailed instructions. We will most definitely be returning to Turtles at Caves Beach, thanks so much Donna!!

Incredible location, great air BnB. We were able to walk down to the beach, were overwhelmed by the walkable breakfast options and discovered a new go-to for beers and good food (Falcon). We loved making this little air BnB our home for the weekend. Thanks for having us Warwick and Newy!

We had a great stay at Vanessa’s. The apartment was great for a short weekend stay, we had plenty of room. It’s in a great location in Newcastle Beach as well.

Very comfy and clean and great location. Great communication. Had everything you needed. Would love to return and stay again. We had a lovely week.

Beautiful studio- like apartment - lovely furniture and balcony and very comfy bed. Bianca was very despair and have great local recommendations! Loved the availability of acar spot in the garage as parking is hard to find around the area!

Had an awesome 3 night stay here. The apartment was impeccable - such a great space, ideal location, and the view… can’t beat it! You are close to the light rail that takes you into other parts of Newcastle. There are a plethora of coffee shops & restaurants nearby. The walk to the iconic lighthouse is close by. I would recommend this stay to anyone… 5 star and the price is super reasonable!

Adrian’s place was so homely and comfortable. The beds were so soft and we didn’t want to leave that lounge! We had just the right amount of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Adrian was very generous and thoughtful. Even leaving ice blocks in the freezer for the kids! The pool and games room was a hit with the kids. Great for the couple of rainy days we got during our stay. This was probably the most comfortable air b n b experience we’ve had. Everything ran smoothly thanks to a great host.

Great place with magical views of the ocean, I could literally hear the ocean waves from every region of the house. The kitchen had everything I needed and the bathroom was lovely. I loved all the natural light the house provided. The place is close to Cole’s and shopping centre, but also uber eats is handy. The Beach is walking distance and was so relaxing. Thank you Louise for the magical stay, can’t wait to visit in the future.

Although we've stayed in locations with more breathtaking views or more luxurious homes, we've never encountered hosts who provided such exceptional service. The experience felt like staying with family—warm, welcoming, and with a genuine sense that nothing was ever too much trouble. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. The attention to detail in every aspect of our stay was remarkable. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, providing personal touches that made our visit truly memorable. The property itself was amazing from top to bottom. Every room was not only well-appointed but also maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. When I say it was clean, I mean it was truly spotless—something that made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this experience set a new benchmark.

The house is stunning, welcoming and comfortable, plenty of room for the family to spend a couple quality days together.

Richard’s place suited our needs perfectly. The location is great - steps away from Jimmy’s beach and also the river for kayaking and pelican watching. A short drive to the patrolled surf beach. We’ll be back!

Great spot just up the road from the beach. Large TV and couch space for relaxing with group and close walking distance to restaurants and a pub.

Caves Beach is a beautiful location and amazing for families. Sue's place was the perfect location - right near the beach with stunning water views and the view of the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The house was big, private and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and hang about. Will definitely be booking this place again for another family holiday.

Had a great two night stay with a few friends…. The area is super peaceful with the house being just a 5 min walk from the stunning beach of Blue Bay. The house was lovely and very clean. Al, the owner, was very responsive and flexible. Would definitely stay again if returning to that area!

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

Perfect place for a weekend stay in Newcastle.. even more so when your dog is made as welcome as you are! Spotlessly clean and surprisingly quiet , quality furnishings and fabulous sheets ! Thank you Keran
