Monthly Rentals in The Catlins

We had the pleasure of a second stay at Skylark B&B! It was a great spot to explore the Catlins from, but we most loved the comfort and views from our room, the farm tour and the hospitality of and visits with Melanie and Karl! A must stop, and a wonderful way to end our time in NZ! Per my husband "a beautiful and peaceful place, with gracious and accommodating hosts!"

Really great beach view, nice and clean, friendly hosts that provided some small snacks, and got to see sealions the next morning. Would definitely stay there again!

We picked the place for the chance of minimum light pollution to admire the starry sky and it didn’t disappoint us. This place is so remote, it’s such a charm in case you just need to go “away” for some time. Being a perfect hangout for kicking back and daze off, it is not too far away from many interesting trails. The three alpacas are absolutely adorable.

Stayed one night in Kaka Point and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Beautiful location with views to ocean. Outside patio was nice. Weather was super winds so couldn’t enjoy sitting outside. Bathroom and bedroom were very nice. Would definitely comeback again. Can’t go wrong with location. Highly recommend booking this apartment.
