Tiny house holiday rentals in The Bahamas

This was our first trip to Eleuthera. We wanted to explore central and south Eleuthera with a house away from crowds. Exploring and connecting with the location we travel to is always a priority to us. The Round House was perfect. We only ate out twice, using the kitchen (except oven) to prepare our meals. In the evenings we relaxed inside with all the windows open listening to the Atlantic and always comfortable with the breeze. The beautiful landscape around the house makes it so easy to fall completely into the island experience. We had a fantastic 7 night vacay. Taja and Doon helped make that happen. We enjoyed visiting with locals on the island. The absolute nicest people!

Larry was fantastic! We had a one week sail trip cancelled due to maintenance problems and Larry cottage was recommended to us for the week. He picked us up and showed us the best Beach around! He was always available and ready to help and be of service! Larry was our blessing in disguise. Our disappointing cancelled cruise was salvaged due to the kindness, help and awesome cottage and beautiful area of Exhuma - THANKS to Larry! The rental of his car was a major plus !! Once again !! A blessing for us !! Thank you, Larry !!

My husband and I stayed at Theresa and Andrew’s little guest house for nine nights and were quite comfortable there. It’s a simple place but it’s cozy and has everything you need. The neighborhood feels so quiet and safe. The yard and fruit trees are spectacular! Theresa and Andrew are there if needed but if you want to be left alone, they will give you privacy. Personally, we adored them and enjoyed our little visits!

We had a lovely stay on STANIEL Cay. Very private location with your own beach. House is comfortable with good working AC. The bedrooms are abit tired for the price but communal areas are lovely. Communication with the host was slow in my opinion - took over 24 hours to respond whilst we were staying in the property. Lovely stay overall and check in was excellent with lots of helpful information.

Joanne's cottage is a lovely place to stay when visiting Hope Town. Joanne was extremely nice, greeting us with champagne and providing fantastic recommendations for things to see and do and places to eat. Joanne even gave us a ride to the ferry dock. We'd love to come back and stay with Joanne.

The Swell Cottage is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to enjoy nature and detaching from the typical hustle and bustle. The eco friendly cottage has all standard amenities and the beachfront area is even more beautiful than the photos. Although tucked back on a dirt road, the house is easily accessible to groceries and more. Jon is an excellent host, who is very responsive and flexible.

Janet and Mike were fantastic hosts. Everything was accurately described and instructions were very clear. The Pineapple Cottage was perfect for my weekend stay in Hope Town.

My boyfriend and I had an incredible stay at Lauren’s tiny home! We felt very safe in the neighborhood and it was only a short walk away from the beautiful blue ocean. Even though it is a smaller space, it had more than enough room for the two of us and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The area was very quiet and peaceful; we were only a short drive away from downtown Nassau but we were so grateful to come back to the tiny home to relax at the end of the night. I would recommend Lauren’s place to any couple looking for a peaceful getaway in the Bahamas!!

Where to start… this place is truly special. If you’re looking for a fancy resort this isn’t it, but if you want your own private insane white/pink sandy beach, local charm, and serenity this is your vacation. We were there 6 nights and saw one other person on the beach the entire time. We walked on the private beach 2 miles every morning followed by a swim in the ocean and a shower in the outdoor shower loaded with local shampoo and body wash made by a teacher on the island. We walked to pascals and had dinner and hung out with Sammy, and searched for other beaches only to realize ours was the best. It rained and we played cards inside our romantic cottage and listened to the waves. This is a special place and we will be back.

Pictures are exactly what you get! Absolutely beautiful!! Nicole, the owner, living on site , is super nice and helped us out with an air compressor for our flat tire. A/C was amazing ! Everything we needed was in the house and the refrigerator/ freezer worked perfectly ! Thank you for the trip planner as it was our go to. Lots of valuable info there!!!!!! Thank you for having us ! We will be back !

Wow! I was blown away by Rob and Mollys home, from the basic necessities to small but important amenities that I didn’t even know I was going to need, they really thought of everything you would need for a stay at paradise. If there wasn’t so much to do and see on this beautiful island I think I would have been happy just staying in and enjoying the views from the bed all day too! Can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at Cayo Loco with my partner and it was a 10/10 Airbnb experience. The beach house had everything we needed from sunscreen and bug spray to beach chairs and coolers. We loved hearing the waves crashing from our bed. The beach was very quiet and we saw only a few people during our time there. We wish we could have stayed longer, it really is a piece of paradise! I would absolutely recommend this for anyone, but it's perfect for a couple! We can't wait to return! Don't hesitate to book this one.

Beautiful place right on the beach!

Jim aptly named Serenity as it is the essence of a peaceful escape. Why this cabin isn't featured among the top AirBNB's is surprising as I have spent hours pouring over listings to find places as secluded or private as Serenity. Where else can you find miles of beautiful beach with only your own footprints on it? There is one other home about a half mile down the beach but nobody appeared to be there during our stay so we had miles of sand all to ourselves with no prying eyes. The cabin itself was a lovely space, and we had no issues adjusting to solar and found that with even limited sun, plenty of power was produced to run the fan, hotplate, lights, and keep our devices charged. We had no issues with bugs as even light winds seemed to keep them at bay. The kitchen had all the basics and the market is a very short drive, although food prices in the Bahamas are about 3-4X that of the US. My only complaint is that it's difficult to escape the sun and in the morning hours.
