We love staying at La Feixa - this was our 4th overnight stay and we were looking forward to it very much. There's a sense of stepping back in history when you push open the double gates of the walled garden and see the huge, heavy wooden doors, the beautiful old stonework, and the distinctive style of an old Catalan farmhouse. Tucked up under the tiles in the eaves of the house you will see many mud nests built (I think!) by house martins. The house is very welcoming - cosy and warm on our arrival (unlike a few overnight stays in other houses we've had, where the heating doesn't go on until you arrive). The log burner is a wonderful extra, and logs are provided. We also love the village - Llado - and a short stroll from the house will take you into the square where you can have a drink and/or a delicious meal under the tall plane trees. Highly recommended!

We had a very quiet weekend in Can Pau. First of all, the house is much bigger than it looked in the photos. It has plenty of space and is very comfortable. Plus everything was super clean. We'll definitely be back!

Gemma's house is beautiful--lovely architecture, medieval views and location in a quiet stone village. Gemma replies to any queries immediately and is helpful in every way. We visited in February and the heating was excellent; the fireplace delightful with plenty of wood available.
