Ashley, thank you so much for sharing your place with us for a few days! My kids and I had such a terrific time! We were able to spend lots of time together, play games, fished (and caught) from the bank, we even swam right out front. The home included everything we needed plus the added bonus of good wifi!!! We will be back!

South Toledo Haven: a lakefront retreat

We enjoyed the great view from the porch and easy access from the dock for fishing and boating. Inside was very comfortable and open making you feel relaxed. Family enjoyed playing games. Temperature control with central air was excellent. The laundry and kitchen had everything you needed and was well organized. Over all a great visit to the lake. Look forward to returning some day.

This is a great lake find! The hosts have thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay! The house is modern, clean, updated, and spacious. The yard is beautiful and the proximity of being lake front is so close! The parking is great and spacious for anyone with a boat. The hot tub is a great and nice addition. Our family loved this house and location and will definitely return.

This was hands down the best accommodation I've ever experienced. Everything about it was perfect - from the serene seclusion to the breathtaking location. The sense of being completely alone by the lake was incredible. I loved barbecuing and swimming in total privacy, surrounded by nothing but nature. If you cherish peace and love the outdoors, I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The house and location are great. For me this was a work trip and the house was far more than we needed. This would be perfect for a family vacation huge dinning area, 2 living rooms, excellent outdoor space and very well equipped. Would love to stay there again if the need arises in the future and it is available.

This camp was perfect for our group of 6! We enjoyed fishing, swimming, and hanging out for the weekend. Plenty of parking space for our 4 vehicles. The house manager, Susie was super helpful when we had an electricity problem, and Lydia the owner was extremely responsive. This is the cutest camp! We can’t wait for our next stay.

the house is expansive for large parties to accommodate everyone. the decor is cute & eclectic! huge fenced in yard for fur babies and in a safe neighborhood. the bed & bedding was comfortable. this house has everything you would need. I will definitely be back!

Robin’s Nest is a great place to experience Toledo Bend! Beautiful water front and dock area to tie up your boat and also fish from. Inside is spacious and home feeling. Although we brought many kitchen utensils, we were able to find what we didn’t bring in the fully stocked kitchen. Be warned that the Pollen is crazy around Mid March time! We will definitely be back to experiencing another family vacation! Thank You

You'd be hard pressed to find a friendlier host than Jim, who clearly wants the best for his guests. That's very apparent by the care taken to keep the property so beautiful. While enjoying morning coffee, we watched a Bald Eagle soar in from the lake like a fighter jet and perch itself on a pine tree for about a half hour. It was extremely vocal and had the other birds in the area on high alert. Not something we see every day in our neck of the woods. We are already planning to return with the family. The home was very spacious, clean and well kept. There was not anything that we needed during our stay that wasn't provided or available. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again, Jim! There were wild dogs, cars driving with explosions, and the surrounding area seemed a little unsafe.The condition of the house was beautiful and nice, but it was a little inconvenient, such as the lack of a dining table, but overall it was good.
