Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tegernsee

A really wonderful host: the loveliest family, couldn't have been more helpful, accomodating and attentive. Excellent communication...even when we called at odd hours. The house is warm and welcoming and had everything we needed and more. We really miss the massage chair, our morning coffee and our new friend, the little cat. Beds were super comfortable, the kitchen/living area is really spacious, the garden is lovely with outdoor dining area and the washing machine and dryer were very handy. The neighbourhood is perfect for a family. It's quiet, friendly, with excellent transport links. Two U-bahn stations, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket, clothes shops, a pharmacy, health food shop, bank and even a department store are all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this property and host. It was like a home away from home.

Cornelia's place was absolutely beautiful! Such gorgeous decorations and intimate small touches everywhere. Lots of lovely antiques and small figurines paired with modern fixtures. Cornelia was so friendly and helpful as well! She showed a passion for her home, and that made it even better to stay in a place that is so well loved and cared for by the owner! She showed me around the entire house which really helped, and she has a great book with suggestions for food and places nearby. The home has so much space for a large family or group, and everything in it is new and beautiful! The house has everything you could need from washer/dryer, hairdryer, shampoo, towels, blankets, piano, games, bikes, ping-pong and more! The location of the home is ideal for Starnberg visiting, and the visitors center in town can provide a map with additional city features and hikes to take. It was a perfect location for our family, and we will definitely be back! I highly recommend this home!

We enjoyed our stay and Ben was very friendly and responsive. The place was very spacious and welcoming for our big family.

We stayed with the family for 4 days in the cabin and felt very comfortable there. The parlor with the long dining table is perfect for an extensive breakfast and in the evening to sit comfortably together. The bedrooms are very cozy and the bathrooms are great! The cabin has everything you need, and the tranquility because it is the last cabin on the mountain is just great. At the same time, shopping facilities can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car, restaurant and the beautiful Achensee is also only 25 minutes away. Manuel was wonderful as a host, he showed us the cabin on arrival and always helped us immediately with questions. We'd love to come back next time maybe in the summer!

Loved the location and the outdoors areas! Eliska was very easy to communicate with and flexible for the check out. The rooms are also nice with everything you need, sink in most rooms but keep in mind only 2 toilets and showers.

Good place to stay if you are a group of 8 people. Very convenient to park 2-3 cars !

We visited Munich for the first time with my family of 4. Two kids 8 and 5. The location was perfect and walking distance less than 10 minutes to the Viktualienmarkt and the rest of the city highlights. The home was exactly as pictured and would highly recommend.

Kati’s loft was a perfect stay for us to kick off our Christmas market adventure!! Easily walkable to Marienplatz and restaurants. Our group of 7 loved that we could tuck the kids away and have a nice open space to share some wine and games. Everything was comfortable and easy to use, and Kati was generous enough to let us check in early. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Airbnb for family. The location is perfect, close to the train station and the main street - Ludwig street. We were being warmly welcomed by Marina and Konstantin. Moreover, Marina provided us several local recommendations. We enjoyed staying here. This ended up the most favourite Airbnb of my family among their stays in Europe. Beautiful setting, well situated, away from any tourist traps or traffic (great opportunity to practice any German you may have :)!) It was perfect for our family. Host was very responsible and respectful.

It is an apartment in a residential area, private , the metro is about 800 meters away, which connects to the airport and downtown , nearby a pharmacy, grocery store The bedroom is in a basement with spiral staircase and be careful when going down, there are two bunk beds in a small cubicle, kitchen well needed and a bathroom , good heating , we went in January that was very cold

Very nice apartment centrally located in Prien. Lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need for a holiday. Very friendly hostess, responds very quickly to questions and has lots of tips on things to do in the area. We had a very nice week at Lake Chiemsee and felt very comfortable in the apartment.

Wonderful apartment, great views, friendly host. Check-in & check-out were easy and flexible. The space is clean and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable bed. Christina was more then helpful and always friendly. I can highly recommend this location.

We stayed in the apartment over New Year and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The apartment was warm and rooms were fully equipped. The apartment had 2 bathrooms, which was very useful. The apartment is close to an S-bahn stop, making it very easy to get into central Munich. We had a great stay and definitely would recommend the apartment. Thank you Tanja.

Christian's place was very nice, I booked it for my boyfriend and me for 10 days. We really enjoyed it. The area is very quiet and above all private. Very easy to reach on foot, the nearest train station not far away. You can get everywhere and explore other cities. The apartment itself was clean and tidy. We were warmly and personally received, the instructions were clear. There was fresh fruit to welcome you and chocolate on departure. This apartment is really only recommended, we will definitely be happy to come back on occasion!

Nice little apartment with nice hostess.

The check-in process was incredibly easy, and the apartment is bright, clean, and cozy. The staircase leading to the main bed is very steep. While this wasn’t an issue for us, as there’s a very comfortable sofa bed on the lower level, it’s worth noting, especially for those traveling with elderly guests. The bathroom is modern, with hot water available instantly. There’s a small kitchenette perfect for making tea before bed, and a little balcony to enjoy some fresh air. The location is fantastic—quiet, yet close to supermarkets, making it convenient to grab anything you might need. Overall, highly recommended!
