Holiday rentals with a pool in Tavronitis

Especially Ourania - Dafnis mother and Malfada (Dafnis dog under the care of Ourania) really made us feel at home. She showed us what Cretan hospitality is including local food. Coming home in the evening and sometimes staying there during the day was always a pleasure - both under the wonderful Maulber tree in the courtyard and in the beautiful house. There were plenty of excursions - beautiful beaches and good food too. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Beautiful villa in a wonderful setting, the outside space is really spectacular. Everything you could need is available at the villa. We were staying with a 10m old and there were loads of baby items which made our trip so much easier. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating and helped us with recommendations when we asked. Would highly recommend this villa. It’s also within easy driving distance to lovely places on the island.

We were a group of 14 friends plus one baby who spent one week at Daphnis Villas. And from the moment we arrived the location until the moment we left, we fully enjoyed our stay. Maria was a wonderful host. She gave us a welcoming introduction to the Villas and was always able to answer any question we had on a very short notice. Probably the best host I have personally interacted with. We had big plans of spending a lot of time at the beach, but we quickly found out how nice it was by the private pool. Where we ended up spending most of our time through the day. The Villas are overall very comfortable with AC in all rooms. Everything was clean and well maintained, from the kitchens to the bedrooms. Within both walking and biking distance of the Villas, you can find plenty of stores/mini makets, ATMs, a bakery and restaurants. Our experience with all of them were great. One last tip. Ask Maria about "ordering" a private chef to the location. You will not be disappointed.

We were a party of five, my wife and I and 3 30 year olds, our two twins and a son-in-law. We all couldn't say enough good things about this home: the view has to be one of the best on the whole island, relaxing, extremely private and immediately felt right at home. Starting and ending each day with that view, I didn't need anything else, but there is as much to do as you want. For example, just 6 minutes down the hill, you have the great little town of Platka with a few delicious local restaurants, market and a nice sports bar if you want a cocktail...like me. Another 10 minutes down the hill you come to Alymrida, the small coastal city that has nearly a dozen varied restaurants right on the water. 40 minutes away is the charming city of Chania, the jewel of Crete. This home is centrally located, 20+ minutes from the highway to go anywhere you wish to go...but keep in mind your leaving this view behind. I hope you enjoy it half as much as we did.

This home was amazing. The pictures are accurate. It’s about 20 minutes (or so) to some great beaches and a 2 minute walk to a great taverna. For me, the best asset was that almost every available outside wall was either a huge window or a sliding door, that let in the light, breeze and sound of the ocean. My one suggestion would be that if you’re planning on cooking or using the kitchen, bring your food along. From a shopping perspective, the nearest mini market is not that close. This is a beautiful spot worth enjoying.

We had a wonderful week at Lina’s villa. It really is a beautiful place with a fantastic view. Close to some fabulous beaches and countryside. Lina was super helpful and friendly and really responsive. The pool was gorgeous. Bedrooms really comfortable. It is about 3km from the village and the road does turn and wind but we got used to it pretty fast and it is not so narrow and mostly lit at night. It is semi detached and the other villa had visitors but they were pretty quiet and we did not feel disturbed. Very glad we chose it

We had a great time staying at Zoi and Jorge's place, Villa Amorada is picture perfect and the surrounds are stunning.

Andrea's villa and location was as wonderful as we'd hoped. We loved swimming in our private pool before breakfast and the view of the ocean from the terrace was outstanding, especially for sunsets, which were spectacular. The location was great, being situated away from crowds but with easy access to many beautiful beaches and tavernas. Andrea's handy hints were really useful, from where to refill water bottles from a spring, or which taverna on Sfinari beach to visit. He responded very quickly if we had any questions, so overall cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Thanks Andrea!

Amazing place to stay, it was immaculate and very modern. The location to the pool and local amenities was fantastic. The studio was regularly cleaned and staff were on hand to contact should we need them. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as shown in the pictures. You are a bit at the mountain up, which is super nice as it is much quieter there. You can walk to town and the beach. We were very satisfied.

We booked the apartment 16 days in November, used the kitchen and have been in Chania a lot. On the rainy or cool days it was nice to be in the living room, enjoying the view and relaxing. We really appreciated the proximity to the small but beautiful beaches.

We had a wonderful stay at Claudia and Marco's. The apartment was spacious and perfectly equipped, private terrace, very quiet and beautiful environment (we were surrounded by olive trees), superb sunsets, and the pool was amazing. Claudia and Marco were available for any questions and very kind. We recommend!!!:)

The apartment was well equipped and it was located in a quiet little village. When we arrived, there were already essentials in the fridge which was much appreciated. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped for a short or long stay. The pool was very clean and we had four chairs booked for our place. The sandy and pebble beaches are a reasonable distance from the apartment; there are several to visit in Crete.

It was a special vacation. Pavlos is a great person very helpful in many ways. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Immaculate cleanliness of the house , pool and garden. The area of the apartment is impressive and the furnishings of the apartment. You can say a lot in superlatives. Our daughters were delighted and so were we. We'll definitely go back. The perfect place to explore the western part of the island. Peace and quiet. Private parking is a big advantage. We're so happy. We love this place. The apartment is amazing and very clean, the surrounding is very calm and peaceful. The host is very respectful and very helpful, we had an issue and she was very responsive in fixing the issue immediately without delay. She’s very caring for her quests. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent almost 2 months at the Menelaos and everything was good. The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from the center ( ~ 15 minute walking). The place is simple, but it has everything you might need for a longer stay. The outdoor space is very nice, we enjoyed mostly the barbeque as we stayed during the winter, but the pool is definitely worth it during summer time. We both work remotely and never had issues with the internet. For us the place was perfect as you have everything you need at walking distance (gym, weekly farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants, veterinarian etc). Menelaos was available all the time for any question/issue that we had. Definitely recommend the place for longer or shorter stays.

Absolutely amazing host and villa. Kosta and his office were brilliant and when we got to the villa we were met by Stella. She could not have done more to make our stay any better; communication was seamless, so many local suggestions, local produce left throughout the stay, the loan of a stoneware pot to use in the pizza oven over tonight to slow cook vegetables, honestly everything and more. The villa is exactly like the photos - stunning. Breath taking location with a view we all miss now we are home. The layout of the villa is excellent; it is beautifully decorated, the outside kitchen area is perfect and much used. The landscaping is wonderful, and the pool is gorgeous. The villa was meticulously cleaned throughout our stay and the pool and garden maintained to the highest standard. We had the most wonderful holiday; thank you so much Stella and your team for everything.

Great week spent just relaxing and had everything we needed. Pool was a great relief to the heat and visiting the local supermarket meant we cooked several times int he bbq and had breakfast looking over the views. Communication was great through out with some good recommendations. Loved that we had a mid week set of new towels / sheets and rubbish removed. It was just what we wanted - relaxed in a lovely location close to amenities . Thank you x

The property is beautiful and location just perfect just a 15mins bus ride to the harbor which is full of nice restaurants and shops etc. The property is a short walk to the beautiful beaches with a few beach bars with nice food and drink and restaurant not far away with very nice food. Great villa with everything you need. It is fairly close to Chania center, about 15/20 minutes by car. The villa was very clean and they even offered us to clean the villa and change towels and bed sheets during our stay. Effie was very welcoming, with some gifts and local products when we arrive and when we left. They were very reactive, and provided with what we needed. For example, they came to give us a baby bed and chair as we did not indicate we were coming with one. The garden is spacious, with some great area to have an aperitif or lunch/dinner: there is a big table in the shadow which is a plus. We strongly recommend and would come back with pleasure.

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect. The outside area was amazing for relaxing wish we could have stayed longer. And will definitely book again with Dimitrios. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Thank you

Enjoyed a beautiful week at Kedros. Perfect location - walking distance to a few stunning beaches, delicious restaurants just down the road, and 5 mins walk from supermarkets. Easy to get the bus to and from Chania old town. Perfect size and set up for 6 girls - would also be great for 3 couples. Loved the pool - it’s bigger than it looks in pics! And the outdoor space was ideal for relaxing in the sun. Mathios was very responsive and friendly whenever we had questions, and gave us recommendations for food, taxi company etc. Wish we could have stayed longer!!!

There were four of us on vacation in the house as a family. We were totally in love with the house. The surroundings are very quiet and very nice for a relaxing holiday. The house is on the mountain and a car is necessary in any case. We would come back anytime. Communication was quick and easy.

This is a wonderful, comfortable and clean house with a beautiful view and sunset. The host is very helpful and has a great hospitality. We had a wonderful week and can definately recomend this house!
