A beautiful shepherds hut in a private little garden. Very friendly welcome on arrival. Warm, cosy and just what we needed. Will be back again.

The perfect getaway to press pause on life for a few days! Very peaceful and private. Fiona was a brilliant host. Everything was thought of and there were personal touches and surprises in every draw. The homemade white chocolate and raspberry cookies were gorgeous. Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back again soon.

Peaceful get away for a change of scenery. I was really impressed with how well stocked the hut was, far better than many other larger places I’ve stayed. Very welcoming touches including some dog treats :) Very warm not at all cold!! No need to worry about that. It was great I would come again !!

We had a great stay, was relaxing and a great location for walks, sightseeing etc. Mandy and Andy both very friendly and helpful. Would recommend booking ahead for any local pubs/restaurants as they are few and far between within a 10-20 min drive and busy at weekends/peak times, also bring a 12v charger for charging within the hut otherwise there are 3 point plugs 100m across the yard which can be used.

Thankfully we bumped into Sally’s neighbour who walked us to the site. ( we ended up becoming friends with them!) The accommodation wasn’t very clean, but it was well stacked with everything we needed and more. Beds and pillows were terrifically comfortable. Bath was heaven, evenings and mornings were paradise. Loved eating al fresco and the site contained everything to make us relax. A special thanks for bread, REAL coffee! Eggs, butter and milk! We loved it and would love to return. Just more attention required to housekeeping!

Perfect location for exploring Shaldon and Teignmouth, the hut was cosy but had everything you needed, toilets and showers were seconds away and were v. clean, would say the bed was a bit hard but all in all was very happy with my stay and would recommend!

I hired the Shepherds hut as an extra bedroom as I live nearby and had lots of family staying for our Golden Wedding . My son and his partner enjoyed their stay and loved the hot tub. We will definitely hire it again in similar circumstances.

As described. The cabin provides for a really cosy and memorable short stay near Exeter within easy reach of the coastal placew like Dawlish.

Had a lovely stay in this Shepherd’s Hut, fantastic value with the hot tub included and beautiful inside. Gill was a lovely, responsive host and messaged to let us check-out later as they had no one in the next day. Would definitely come back.

Second visit this year💗 This place well and truly has my heart. I’ve never been anywhere in my life that I have felt so peaceful then this place (and I have travelled to so many beautiful countries). Dreamview Shepherd Hut are absolutely breathtaking, I could not recommend them enough. If your contemplating booking, don’t think just book it you won’t be disappointed. Melanie has thought of every little detail you could possibly need. I love this place so much, from sitting in the hot tub watching the stars to laying in bed with the cosy fire lit. I don’t ever want to leave this place. Please keep these huts forever!💗 Thank you so much Melanie and family - you have truly out done yourselves with this venue. We recently stayed at Andreas Shepherd's Hut in Cruxton, and it was a delightful experience. Nestled in a serene rural setting, the hut offers an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation was charmingly rustic yet comfortably modern and the interior was well-appointed with thoughtful touches that made it feel cosy and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable and the small kitchenette was equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay which we made the most of both mornings and evenings. The hut's location was perfect. Surrounded by apple trees and rolling hills, it's ideal for leisurely walks, relaxing outside with the fire pit or enjoying the private space alongside the river. The lack of light pollution in the area allowed us to view the Milky Way when stargazing one evening which was the perfect addition to our stay. Andrea was super accommodating, ensuring that everything was in order and even dropped off a homemade Dorset apple cake!

We had a lovely couple of nights in Herdwick hut at Laverstock farm. The farm is gorgeous and we enjoyed walking around it seeing the animals, particularly the pygmy goats, and even had a couple of games of table tennis in the games room. The area around the hut is very private and peaceful, although you could hear some chatter from the cottages above at times. The hut itself is really pretty and cosy and we loved being greeted by the cows in the adjacent field. The separate kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed evenings by the fire pit, with the added bonus of marshmallows left by the host! One thing to mention is that the shared washroom is a walk away, up by the cottages, but it was clean and offered products and towels. A relaxing and lovely stay.

Our stay at Nicola’s shepherd's hut was absolutely delightful. The location is idyllic, offering a serene escape where you can fully relax and immerse yourself in nature. The hut was incredibly clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat. Nick and her mum were both amazing hosts, ensuring that everything was perfect for our stay. Their hospitality truly made the experience special. I highly recommend this charming shepherd's hut for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful getaway.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. We had a small issue when we arrived but this was sorted out really quickly. The relaxing break we really needed at the end of a busy term

This stunning Shepards Hut couldn’t have been any better. Was very accommodating and had everything we needed. Clive provided us with lots of information including recommendations of walks and near by pubs. We enjoyed the hot tub and were able to cosy up around a fire and were accompanied by the ducks and the cat Norman. Was very peaceful and just what was needed for a couples get away. Thank you to Clive and Niki for providing us with such a beautiful place.

I had the best few days at Sallys shepherds hut. It was exactly as described (in fact, probably more roomy than I thought it would be!) Paddy showed me around when I arrived and I could contact them both if I needed anything. The hut had all the essentials that I needed and being able to park right next to it was really helpful. A few days away for some peace and quiet was just what I was after and it absolutely delivered. My spaniel loved the field to run around in too, just opening the door in the morning to let him run outside was nice. The weather wasn’t the best (very rainy) but to come back and light the fire to warm up was great and the hut holds heat well, I wasn’t cold at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and I’d highly recommend it. Perfect location for hikes, getting to the beach and some lovely pubs in the village for dinner. The copper kettle is great for breakfast too! I didn’t want to leave! Thanks again Sally and Paddy for everything.

Amazing stay, am sorry it’s over! Chloe’s place is the perfect, peaceful retreat, and Chloe a wonderful host - the pre-heated hot tub and little extras were hugely appreciated. The weather not being particularly on our side meant two nights spent in front of the cosy wood-burner, and we look forward to returning in the summer to make the most of the beautiful outside space and meet the Shetland ponies! Would 100% recommend!

It’s beautifully decorated, so much attention to detail. Thanks for the wine, milk, eggs, tea, coffee etc. great touch x The hot tub was lovely too Everything was 💯

Such a beautiful little hut. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Andrew was very responsive and dealt with any questions or problems swiftly. Spotlessly clean and very cosy. Loved the outdoor bathtub. Water was perfectly hot and it was so calming to sit in nature. Thanks Andrew look forward to returning again soon 🙏🏽

The most beautiful Shepards hut, we found it easily, William sent us a video which was really helpful to find the cabin. It exceeded our expectations on arrival, there is even a little water fall on the lake and it’s very private and much bigger than expected. The hut itself was cosy and warm but roomy and had everything we needed and was very clean. The hot tub is a two person one and was so much easier to use/get in an out of than some of larger ones we have used. We thoroughly enjoyed chilling in the hot tub looking at the stars each evening in the complete privacy of the surrounding country side. We walked to Seatown for lunch at the Anchor and a little walk on beach and it was ideal. Took us around an hour each way as we were dordeling and taking pictures of the beautiful countryside. William was very responsive and popped over immediately with some fire lighters when we asked and we made a lovely fire. Was all round perfect thank you. We would defo book again. Thank you :)

One of the best place I’ve ever stayed! Would definitely come back in the summer time to take full advantage of the out door area

We had the most luxurious weekend just before Christmas. Brilliant hosts. Stunning location, looking out over the valley, watching the alpacas roam. The hut feels very private, down its own little footpath. The 2-person hot tub isn't overlooked by anyone else and no one would ever pass by (unless they were lost). Robes and towels provided. The hut is very cosy and warm - even when we only used the heated towel rail. The wood burner is fantastic (wood supplied free of charge). The bed folds down from the wall into the space where the table/benches are. Cooking facilities are two hobs and a microwave, with all pans/utensils we needed. Fantastic shared facilities as well: we used the indoor pool and table tennis - although it was hard to peel ourselves away from our beloved hut! We were there during a mega storm and (a) the hut stayed super cosy and (b) Simon and Claire were super responsive when the storm knocked out the water pump. What a fantastic weekend - can't wait to go back!
