House holiday rentals in Taunton Deane

Came for a change of scenery only an hour away but really felt like we had a break here :) Brought my dog, and even though no garden at this property (as listed) plenty of grass to take them out on a lead to. Cosy and warm -with a very comfy bed. Lovely to have access to the pool, a little cool for me being lazy but imagine perfect temperature to actually swim in! Would definitely come back x

We had a very chilled 4 days at Clare’s lovely pool house. Clare and her husband are great host very friendly and helpful, the village is beautiful and quiet and the sounds of the church bell ringers practising on Thursday night was lush, the pool house is warm and cozy.

We were a group of 15 friends and family - adults, teenagers and children - celebrating new year together. The property suited us perfectly and had everything we needed for a great few days. The location is excellent for the Jurassic coast beaches and Lyme Regis.

This is our second time staying in this lovely caravan. It’s always pristine and lovely. I always felt like a home away from home there. The bedrooms are a good size and the extra full bathroom is a definite plus! I’d highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely perfect hosts and accommodation. This was my first stay at an air bnb and it was wonderful. Kate couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating and assisted me with additional things such as taxi numbers. The accommodation is simply stunning and the layout of the home means that even if a large group of you stay you still have your own space. The pool is welcome addition as are the hands outside, even the harder to please teenagers had a great time. We’re now home and looking at other dates we can return to the cottage. Thank you Paul, Sandra & Sam for a wonderful stay at Mistletoe Farm to celebrate my Mum’s 60th birthday. Everything was exactly as we hoped and more! The bar, garden kitchen and party room were fantastic areas. We loved the hot tub, karaoke, log burner and twinkly lights! The Somerset evening was brilliant - welly wanging was so much fun and we all really enjoyed the cider tasting and hog roast. Thank you so much for catering for the non-drinkers and veggies in the group! Paul was always available on his phone if we needed assistance, and always made sure we were warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed spending time in the kitchen and living area in the annexe - this is a really cosy spot. The surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk to Hornsbury Mill nearby. We would also recommend the 5 dials pub which is a 5 minute drive away - really lovely food, good service and a great atmosphere. The guests ages ranged from 2 to 80+ and everyone had a fantastic time! 🥳🎉

Absolutely loved our stay at the Garden House, immaculate accommodation in a beautiful setting. Such comfortable beds and beautifully crisps sheets - the photos don’t do the Master bedroom justice as it’s absolutely stunning. The layout was perfect for our family with plenty of bathrooms. The added bonus of the pool which we could book for our personal use was lovely. Very handy to get to Glastonbury and Wells and the surrounding areas. The kitchen was cute and well equipped. The open fire was lovely too although with such a good heating system we only used it a couple of times. We all loved our time there and we will definitely be going back.

This place is such a gem for families, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt right at home and we had absolutely everything we needed and more. Rachel was such a lovely host, always responsive and very accommodating! She provided us with recommendations and researched the local area to give us details of the closest place to charge the electric car. The amenities provided at Endeavour were brilliant, the kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything you could have needed and more and lots of staples left for us to use. There were lots of games which the children loved playing with (and the adults too!!) and provided hours of entertainment for them. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy and it really felt like a home from home. Thank you for such a lovely stay and we will definitely be back!

Lovely place absolutely perfect for our needs. Lovely 5 burner hob which came in very handy when the area had a power cut 12 -5 Christmas Day when we were trying to cook dinner for 20 people. Very detailed instructions both before stay and in the folder left in the house.

Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for, a great place to decompress. Jonathan was friendly and sent clear directions. The accomodation was warm, clean and beautifully kept. We only used the pool once, but those that used it, enjoyed it. We would certainly consider a return visit.

Lovely place to stay, Tess is a great host, and we had some lovely scones and some little bits in the fridge, kitchen was very well stocked and loads of fresh coffee and machines to brew it. Very clean place and found the living room comfy and warm. The bathroom was clean and located downstairs on the same floor as the living room and kitchen. The bedrooms are a good size and beds very comfy, the pillows and all of the bedding was top notch. I lived out stay here and would come back again.

As soon as we walked in the door we loved this place! What a gem! The living area has large windows overlooking a peaceful valley full of sheep and chickens - a truly beautiful view to enjoy at any time of day. The house was wonderfully warm - as was the welcome by Tiffany. We felt personally greeted and our hosts could not have been more helpful. The house itself is gorgeous! Spacious and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. I had the best nights' sleep - the beds are so comfortable! The place is quiet and peaceful - you feel hidden away - yet Lyme Regis is just on the doorstep. We spent a day walking around Lyme, drinking coffee and visiting the shops, and one day just relaxing in Little Winter's Cottage. We absolutely loved the place and we will definitely be back! Thank you Tiffany - you were a wonderful host!

This lodge was perfect! Great value for the price and the hot tub was set up before we arrived. Was spotless and was provided with all cleaning products that we needed. Bedrooms are spacious and towels were provided. Gary welcomed us on arrival and was very friendly. Would defiantly recommend, we had a lovely time :)

Mark has a lovely place and we settled in nicely. It was easy to communicate with mark and we enjoyed his place. Also ideal if you are two couples for example as each room was self contained. There is also use of a garden. Thank you

Fantastic stay at Maysmore, beautiful house with everything you need for a break away from home. Quick walk into Lynmouth village. Sally is a great host who is very responsive. We will be back again for our 3rd visit in the near future.

Our family had a fantastic time staying at David and Susan’s lovely home in Holcombe. The spacious living area and incredible garden were perfect for us. We loved the house's location and even discovered a hidden gem - a secluded beach! We would definitely stay here again.

Angus was really helpful and proactive in ensuring our stay met our needs. He was really easy to contact in the build up and made sure he met us all on arrival.

We had a great stay in Gennady's BnB home. A private house set in a quiet mews, with a lovely open & naturally lit layout downstairs - & two cosy comfortable double bedrooms upstairs. The off street parking was a huge bonus. Plenty of grocery shops close by, plus bus stops with choices of routes (maybe only 5 - 10 mins trip) into Bath centre (or one could walk). Friendly & prompt communication with Gennady. Thank you!

We all had a fantastic holiday, it was our first time as a blended family and we all had lots of space to both interact together quiet/private time too. The facilities were fantastic for both adults and kids. Overall a great place for a family / large group and a great base for the surrounding area / south coast
