Great place, big Tescos 10 min drive away incase you forget things. Book with recommendations inside and setup very nice on arrival.

Such a pleasure to stay at. The enclosed garden was perfect for privacy and great place to let the dogs roam unattended. The shower was so so good. Bed comfy and clean and the kitchen had all you needed. Will definitely stay there again.

It was the perfect location for scenic walks - our favourite being the close walk around Flatford Mill. Plenty of local friendly pubs around too. Janet is one of the kindest hosts, thank you for making us feel so at home!!

We loved our stay at the Old Piggery! We were looking for somewhere peaceful in the countryside to spend a relaxing weekend and the Old Piggery was perfect. Communication before and during our stay was really good and the owners allowed us to change our booking dates at short notice due to illness. It was easy to find and check in was super easy with the lock box. The place is beautiful with the large open plan living room/kitchen with a woodburner. We loved that each bedroom had it's own door to the garden and views over the fields towards the river. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfy and there were lots of books/games. It could do with a deep clean and new towels but these things didn't really bother us. It was easy to walk to the river/beach. We saw lots of wildlife in the garden and surrounding areas. We were lucky with the weather being cold but sunny end of Jan and can imagine the garden is amazing in the warmer months for a bbq. We would love to visit again!
