Monthly Rentals in Taoroa Junction

This is the second time that we have visited. The house is perfect - homely, peaceful and a beautiful place to unwind, especially given there is no TV and wifi. The outside bath is a lovely touch. The pub, more or less across the road, has a great choice of food and drinks. A round of drinks is included with your first visit (courtesy of the Airbnb too) so well worth trying out. We actually visited three times during our 3 night stay. Highly recommended. But don’t forget provisions for breakfast and snacks as no nearby dairy. I made that mistake on our first visit!!

Ross was extremely welcoming, communicative, helpful (with local recommendations), friendly (personally greeted us upon arrival), and kind (gave us a free upgrade to his larger multi-bedroom unit with a full kitchen, living room, and porch with gorgeous mountain views). This was a convenient stop for us on our way from Wellington to the Tongariro Crossing, and probably one of the best places to stay for miles if you are passing through the area. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in - so cleverly and beautifully presented and appointed . Kitchen was very well set up for self catering ( with a great Smeg fridge) , bed and pillows were very comfortable , shower was great and the tiny home was very user friendly and spacious for its size . A great deck to relax on with a glass of something and enjoy the lovely rural vista . Breakfast provisions were very generous and Becky and Sean were the most lovely welcoming and generous hosts . We want to come back

Debbie‘s place is wonderful, it’s very spacious and has a full kitchen. The washing machine was much appreciated. The bed was lovely and comfortable and had lovely linen. Debbie gave us useful tips on how to walk through the woods into town, it was a lovely walk, not too far. I‘d love to to return if I am ever in the area again!!
