We were here for a month. It's a remarkable place, teak wood throughout. It's an older house/former hotel with an absolutely amazing team of caretakers, Vino and his wife Sal. They went above and beyond for us at every single moment. I think it's the perfect base if you are diving at one of the dive resorts nearby. It gives you a chance to save vs staying at the resort. Manado isn't a well-developed tourist area, and Kalasey less so. You will always be able to find an Indrive or grab car, and the people are incredibly kind. Just remember that if you are a westerner you will stand out, get your photo taken, all that, if you decide to do things outside of the bungalow or in town. It can be a bit much, though that has nothing to do with the property. Manado city has a few good malls and great restaurants. Hapa Kitchen is one we loved. Three Key things: AC works. Pool is amazing. And it has literally the best wifi coverage and speed of any place I have ever stayed. I was shocked. So good

The place have everything you need to make your stay pleasant, a very large terrace with a beautiful view of the city, a kitchen where you can make your own breakfast. I strongly recommend it

Our stay in this piece of paradise was more than exquisite! Tia and Annie spoiled us very much with breakfast, lunch and dinner! But both are also very welcoming! Uncle T drove us around to your liking and showed us the most beautiful places as an experienced tourist guide. Regularly, he stops the car and gets off to give extra info about flora and fauna. Has a lot of knowledge about all of Sulawesi!! We felt at home and worth repeating😍😍😍 love family the great sopacua
